Amazing Clarity and ease of use
I am very happy with this system and look into things to the nth degree before I buy them. I expect it to be easy and operate without issues when purchasing something in this range and this system has delivered all I was looking for and more. In short, there is nothing i don't like about this setup and it has worked flawlessly.Pros:1. very clear, crisp images, great zoom, great night vision2. easy setup with home network, viewable whether your phone is on your home network or out of the house3. intuitive interface whether logging into the NVR directly, the phone app or the computer app4. comes with everything you need including very nice weatherproof connections for the cameras.5. All storage onsite - no cloud fees and no issues recording and saving data if internet goes out6. Very easy to record clips and save to phone or computer.7. Easily expandable for more cameras or larger/additional hard drive8. Power over Ethernet makes for a simple installObservations (not really cons, but not pros):1. With 8 cameras recording, the hard drive fills up within 2-3 weeks depending on settings. If you would like a longer period backup, it is easily upgradeable by adding an additional hard drive.2. Make sure you attach all cameras to the NVR and set it up prior to mounting them, much easier not running from camera to camera if there's an issue.3. Adding a camera and advanced diagnostics seem to be only available when logging directly into the NVR and not over the apps. I have the NVR Located in a place that is difficult to get to, so i had to run an hdmi cable through the attic to a tv in another room and use a wireless mouse that has a good range on it to access the NVR directly. It's annoying, but the rest of the system functionality and quality makes it very much worth it.4. Tech support is purely through email. I had an issue with connectivity and the cameras dropping out initially. (make sure you update the firmware when you install it, I didn't at first and that was the problem) The tech support responded within an hour with the exact solution to my poorly described problem. They were great.Cons:1. Motion detection is based on movement for these specific cameras. You really have to fine tune the sensitivity and area of detection for each camera to get a result that does not send a motion alert every few minutes. Reolink has smart cameras that can identify cars and people that work great at avoiding false alarms due to the wind blowing a branch across the camera's view, so when adding cameras look into them as well.If you have read this far, I hope this has been helpful. I would definitely recommend this and after a year I am very happy with the purchase.

Secure Your Property with Reolink 4K Ultra HD PoE Camera System!
I purchased this 4K Ultra HD PoE camera system for my restaurant, and I must say I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. This camera system provides almost 4 times the clarity of 1080p, thanks to its 4K Ultra HD resolution, and ensures the highest quality view of my surroundings with no flaws or distortions, even when I digitally zoom in.One of the features that I love about this camera system is its ability to identify people and vehicles in terms of their shapes. This minimizes unwanted alerts, such as those triggered by animals or shadows, and ensures that I am notified only when I need to be. Additionally, the cameras can be configured to specify the type of detection when sending alerts to me, making it easy for me to know what happened simply by glancing at the lock screen.Another feature that makes this camera system stand out is the remote access and playback option. The free Reolink app allows me to access all my cameras remotely, no matter how many I have, and perform live views and playbacks on my smart device (iOS, Android) via WiFi or 3G/4G connection. This means that I can check in on my restaurant at any time, from anywhere, giving me peace of mind and ensuring that my establishment is always secure.Setting up the Reolink 4K Ultra HD camera system is a breeze, thanks to its plug and play PoE system. With a simple PoE connection, I was able to install and set up my camera system in no time. The single network cable, which can stretch up to 330ft, provides smooth security coverage of my entire restaurant, making it perfect for both beginners and DIY camera enthusiasts. Finally, the continuous 24/7 recording feature is another highlight of this camera system. With a pre-installed 4TB HDD, I am provided with reliable 24/7 continuous recording and motion-triggered only recording. I also have the option to install an HDD of up to 6TB for storage, which means I can record and store footage for a longer period of time.Overall, I highly recommend the Reolink 4K Ultra HD (8MP) PoE camera system to anyone who needs a reliable and high-quality security camera system. Its features are top-notch and make monitoring my restaurant a breeze.
