You should understand that standard bee suits, even full cover suits, do not stop you from being stung even by honey bees. If the suit touches your skin, even a honey bee can sting through it. I would recommend that you wear thick clothing underneath your suit if you want to minimize the chance of being stung. That means long pants and shirt and a brimmed hat. You may need something to protect the back of your neck also. Of course you should take that into consideration when choosing the size to purchase. I would not really on the suit to protect you against wasps particularly in the daylight hours. However, with extra undergarments, a nighttime planned raid on wasps could be accomplished having the proper chemicals to defeat the wasps while all are in the nest. You should always inspect yourself throughly prior to removing your suit!

I would recommend getting the biggest size that they offer. I’m 5’4” and about 180 lbs. The large fits me fine in leg and sleeve length. Unfortunately, like other reviewers have experienced, this is very short in the crotch. It’s so short that I give myself a wedgie just getting my shoulders in and when bending over. The quality is great and I love the material but they are definitely made for short people.

I can’t really answer your question, but this product is very short in the crotch length. Perhaps someone can send you what the actual measurement is. I love the quality of the suit. I bought a large. I’m 5’4” and it almost gives me a wedgie. I’ve already ripped the crotch seam. So, weight isn’t the problem. It’s crotch length.
