Does the job
This brace got me through the worst of an elbow injury. The straps were too long but easy fix just trimming them. The only two things that annoyed me is after a week or two the stars would not stay closed (Velcro didn’t stick) but should I need it again I will just replace the straps with something else, and the lock dial would pop free with only a little resistance. I’m sure that was because I was still quite active while wearing it and put a lot of stress on it. The lock/stop for extension was the only one that started to fail, the other remained sturdy. Again, I’m creative with fixing stuff so if in need it again I will probably just glue or or tape it into place as I didn’t need to adjust it.Added bonus, my husband called me C-3PO and told me I should spray paint it gold /laugh. I got a lot of positive comments about my cool bionic arm, though!I recommend wearing a fitted arm sleeve or thin stretchy brace under it for comfort, but adds a little bit of you have thin arms to keep it from slipping.

Decent Brace
I had a Bicep repair done and needed this instead of the sling. It does it job well. It is simple to use and operate. The only issue I found is that it irritated my skin because of the tightness (needed so it didn't slip). This was solved by a sleeve of cloth. It still moves slightly throughout the day, but overall it is WAY more comfortable than a sling.

Do not waste your money
Normally, I try to be very understanding and we have patience for issues we may have with products we have received. However, this time is different. I gave the company about a week to resolve this and it has yet to be done. My husband received this brace and it was was defective. The hinge locks were not working. After we looked, there was defect in the lock mechanism and the grooves. Sent to the company and resolution has been beyond disappointing. My husband would have liked this product and this would have been at least 4 star review.Don’t take the chance. I wouldn’t buy another from this company.

4.5 Stars - Much Better Than The Sling I Was Using
The media could not be loaded. I have a distal biceps tendon injury (at the elbow). I needed something other than the sling to protect my arm because the sling was giving me issues from pulling on my neck. I opted for this brace because I wanted to be able to move while still protecting my arm from suddenly extending too far.I have no trouble getting this brace on and setting the range of motion by myself. My bicep / upper arm is 16 inches, so I'm at the top end of size this will fit. I wish the straps were a little more comfortable. I don't care for the way they feel on my skin but it's tolerable. The locks are holding in place and I'm much happier being able to move my shoulder and use my hand. Most ROM braces have very mixed reviews. I'm glad I took a chance on this one. Very pleased.

Not the best locing mechanism - but on par with the rest I guess
This was delivered to be just a few hours ago and the lock pin to hold my arm at 90 degrees has come loose and failed twice. From the one I was at the Doctor's office, this one isn't necessarily any worse, but the lock pin being made of plastic instead of aluminum or steel allows it to flex and give way pretty easily. I think it may hold better at lower angles, but I'm stuck at 90 degrees for another week and will have to be very careful with this. For what it's worth, this isn't a bad value for the money compared to the one's doctors charge $500 for. Those really aren't any better and have their own caveats to use. I just wish I could spend $20 or $30 more and get one with a stronger lock vs everyone trying to market one of these below a hundred bucks or over 500 bucks. The middle ground would be a good place to be.I would not trust this to hold my arm while I sleep, and don't want to have to repeat my surgery, so if you you're only going to have one option during your recovery, this is not the best option. At a minimum save your original ace-bandage style with splint for sleeping and use this thing for cautious around the house extension of your elbow.

Hinged
The quality was good. I had to wait to long to get from Doctor so I purchased my own. Fit well and was able to put on myself.

Easy to adjust and holds in place also will fit any size arm
This post OP elbow brace works great to maintain stability in your elbow/arm. The brace is covered in soft cloth so it doesn't feel uncomfortable. It’s very easy to use and very comfortable to wear!! It keeps your arm stabilized so that you don’t have to worry about accidentally bumping or extending your arm and accidentally causing movement that is not recommended.
