DEWALT DW0802 33'. Laser Square, Yellow

I recently purchased the DeWalt DW0802 33' Laser Square, and I am incredibly impressed with its performance. This tool has proven to be an invaluable asset in my woodworking projects. The laser line it produces is incredibly accurate and visible, making it easy to align and square up my workpieces.One of the standout features of this laser square is its versatility. Used it for laying tile. Great tool.

Dewalt did a great job but moldings or sheetrock are inherently more warped than the walls. Also it difficult to find a truly square corner. This simple jig steadies the laser and also lets you slide along a wall so you can check your perpendicular lines. Mine is all made from scrap and takes about half the time or less to create lines to work from when laying floors. DeWalt should mold out of rigid plastic.

You need to use caution when pushing mounting pins into a wall. If you use a hammer the metal "O" ring that holds the pin in place will fly off (good luck finding it). Now my pins won't stay in place. Not a show stopper since I don't rely on the pins very often.

I am amazed at how easy this square made life for me! I just pinned it up on my design wall and was able to see the laser across the top and down one side. All 70”! Made straightening the edges ever so simple. I use an insulation foam board for my design wall, so lots of T-pins will hold it in place. The pins that it comes with won’t work for this. I can then spray the quilt with lots of water and block it square!!! Money well spent!

It doesn't go very far on the ground and it's hard to see in the light, but it's worth the money if you use it right. We use a different laser to establish lines on the floor, then shoot this one to get laterals. Square it up with your line and hold something up to see. For the price, it's a timesaver well worth

Probably one of the best laser squares on the market. This square is packed with many features that others on the market simply don't have. The square has the longest visibility of squares out there today. It has holes in the base for you to mount to the wall to shot lines where you like or to hold it in place on the floor so no one can bump it out of place accidentally. It also features big like thumb tacks that are reusable that go through holes in the base to hold to what ever surface you want without make big hole. It's construction has a lot of aluminum in it not all plastic so it can take some decent abuse
