Hoping it fixed the problem
The connectors are a bit different than the model I have, leaving me with a spare that doesn't connect to anything. This was also a bit of a lark, as the car stopped working (we have had it for 2 years and my son rides it so much he has gone through 3 tires), we tested every connection and could find no fault. So this was a shot in the dark and it worked great!

FIXED THE ISSUE :)
This controller was the issue with my son's Drifter.. it was plug and play and easy to re-install.. Just note that the Black / Red wires coming from the brake connector are swapped.. it still works properly and matched the original controller as well.. just threw me off guard when i noticed it..

Received a defective controller
It would have been great if it worked. Didn’t find out that I️ was sent a defective unit because I️ was replacing all the parts for the drifter we got used. Ordered this then a battery then motor etc. would have had to replace all the parts if this worked. Stupid me had I️ known. Seller wouldn’t take it back because it was outOf return period. Bought one locally. Worked right the first time. Beware!
