Smile Tooth 2 Minute Sand Timer Assorted Colors

Came well protected and works great to keep kiddo brushing for full 2 minutes. One side tends to stick a bit and backs up but it works. Only fear is the glass will break but encased in plastic tube makes me feel better about not having glass around bathroom.

This worked great for my child! knowing they are brushing there teeth good with this timer.

I didn’t listen to the warning reviews, and I wish I had. My child grabbed this by the top on the “tooth” and it came off, dropping the rest to the tile floor and shattering the extremely thin glass that held the sand. Total waste of money. We’ve had it for about 2 weeks, and it gets used twice a day under adult supervision, so it hasn’t ever been pulled on, etc. Do yourself a favor and order something else.

It's a cute concept but ours was bumped off the counter (I mean it's for kids....) and the glass broke inside that held the sand inside the timer so there goes that.

My child hates brushing her teeth, especially for 2 min but with this she is excited to turn it over and she watches the pink sand as it falls. This is a great visual for your impatient kiddos.

It is a cute 2 minute timer, but for the price, I think i'll just get one from the dollar tree next time and for go the cute tooth look. It was knocked off the counter twice and shattered.

Overall this timer is awesome! It helps my son brush for the appropriate amount of time and is actually spot on exactly 2 minutes according to my handy dandy wrist watch! Unfortunately, the seller sent pink instead of blue, and I had to have the "sometimes things don't always work out right" talk with him, but now he's fine with having a girly little pink toothy timer, aptly named Tammy the tiny toothy timer

After reading some of the the other reviews I was hesitant to purchase, but for the price I figured the gamble was worth it. I am happy I took the chance. This now lives on my bathroom counter and I use it every time I brush my teeth. I have not had a problem with the sand not going through and it has fallen into the sink a few times and the glass did not break (like some others have complained about). I timed it, and it is not exact but takes a little over 2 minutes for the sand to go through (2:15-2:25), and I figure brushing for a little longer than 2 minutes is better than under. I will be buying another one of these for my nephew (once he is old enough to brush his own teeth).
