When I was searching for a really fine mesh for my small nursery tub for propagating some difficult plants i needed a fine mesh to stop ants and other small insects getting in through the drain holes, when examining the photos on amazon it looked fine but wasn't sure if it would be small enough. When it arrived I opened it up and was very pleased to see that it was better than I expected so next I tested it to make sure water still flows through for the drainage and yes it's a BIG thumbs up for me.

I saw a video of this being used in an aquarium filter for fine sifting the waste, it actually works, I cut it larger than the filter needed and then folded the edges for strength, job done and easy to rinse off during maintenance.

The gauze is exactly what I needed and priced really well I use it for crafting and it just gives items that I need to stand such as soft toy ears without making it bulky. I imagine if I was using it for vermin nothing would get through that, but it’s not my reason for buying it.

Arrived fast, well packaged, bought to create a silent splash for a water blade works well to diffuse the water sound.
