RObust, just the right size, and easy to install. I swapped out the static feet on the bottom of my outdoor LP fire pit for these casters - it allows us to move it around on the back patio without having to lift something pretty heavy. I lock the casters in place and it works Great!! I just sent the link to my neighbor - he's ordering them to do the same!!

I have 2 Ikea metal shelves. I wanted to put wheels on them and wasn't sure about the size. So I took the level screw to a big chain hardware store, got the size Metric (M8X1.25) and ordered one set. Perfect fit, so I ordered one for the second shelving unit. You just screw them into the sleeve that goes over the leg, remove the leveling leg and screw in the wheels. Now I can just move the shelves with the stuff still on it. Don't have to remove everything just to move the shelves. I'm very happy with my purchase.Update: The wheels are great, no complaint there, but that shelving unit wasn't made to take those wheels. I sleeve that I screwed them into was fine, until I put stuff on those shelves. Those sleeves snapped right off. Legs are fine, wheels are fine. Now I have to get something to insert in there that's metal and it should be fine.

Added these to OMAR (18x14x37) to make rolling kitchen cart. (the butcher block is also IKEA APTITLIG, that I cut the 4 corners out with a jigsaw). The wheels roll very smoothly, and seem to be quite strong - I bet the plastic OMAR "feet" would break before the wheel if you put a lot of weight on the cart.I like that it comes with additional hardware and wrenches to install onto other furniture projects, though I didn't need to use any of said hardware for this IKEA "mini hack".

It’s a perfect fit for the Ikea KUNGSFORS Kitchen cart, stainless steel, 23 5/8x15 3/4 ". It helped me go from plastic casters that made a lot of noise into soft rubber casters that are silent. I would recommend to a friend.

I bought these wheels to put on my Ikea Omar wire shelf. I have a rock business so I use these shelves to store bins of rocks. When my shelves are loaded, but not overloaded, they hold quiet a bit of weight. When I was moving one recently 2 of the plastic cups that hold the wheels buckled causing the shelf to tip. My solution was to buy some 1" copper couplings from the local Lowes. The plastic cups slide into the copper couplings nicely. I did add some gorilla glue to keep them in place. I'm hoping this extra metal sleeve will prevent any future issues.BTW: I tried a 1" electrical conduit sleeve but the inside diameter was not big enough for the plastic cup.

Good quality, sturdy. I installed 4 of these on the legs of a rolling butcher block I made and needed the threaded inserts. I drilled a 15/32 inch hole in the bottom center of each leg the used 8mm hex wrench to install insert.The caster has a 14mm nut as part of the threaded post and. 13/15mm wrench included with kit. Seriously? There isn't a 14mm wrench thin enough to tighten the caster into the insert. I've seen this with every caster I've worked with. I added the 13mm nut included in kit to be able to tighten caster.Overall, this was a good set of casters and I'd buy again.

Had these junky plastic casters on our large bird cage. One of the casters finally broke. Saw these on Amazon. $20!! Work great, great price and well made.

There was no mention of being used. 3 of the 4 casters had threads buggered up about a half an inch up on the attachment bolt. I was able to use a tap and run it up and down the threads several different times to restore the threads which I found when I tried to screw them in to my laptop table. I would provide pictures, but I have them installed now and I am not going to take them our as only a plastic insert holds the nuts for my laptop table of which I had to hot melt glue 3 of them due to the threads being buggered up.
