I was able to help a friend who was living without a working oven for years.Just in time for Thanksgiving!!!

Unhooking old element and hooking up new element was a matter of two flat tip screws. Less than $30 and we’re back in business.

I purchased this element on 7/2/21 via Amazon. Today is 7/2/22 and it does not work. It actually stopped working about a month ago (oven would consistently be ~50 degrees too cool). Due to a long to do list, I just got around to diagnosing the problem today (ironically on the anniversary of my purchase). I have twin ovens, so I swapped elements - the much older one that was still working with this one that had been replaced within the year. The oven heated up perfectly confirming that the subject element had failed in less than one year. Apparently, this is a poor quality product and I would not recommend.

Item worked well happy with product. Fit good works good.

Good fit

On Thanksgiving morning as Our turkey was finishing up in the oven, zzzap, the lower element burned out. All other baking came to a halt. I was able to finish up with the broiler element and a little careful placement of the oven racks. After the holiday weekend I jumped on Amazon and ordered this replacement baking (lower) element. It arrived within the week and fit in place perfectly. This is the second of the balking elements I've replaced in 32 years in this oven. Couldn't be happier that they are still available.
