I tried removing the crankshaft bolt in my 09 Pilot and boy oh boy what a pain. I got this 19 millimeter hevy duty socket and first attempt with my 1/2 inch impact and Off came the bolt. Excellent!

Socket does NOT fit in pulley wrench, fyi
The point of ordering a kit like this is to remove your pulley and re install it. The crack pulley wrench works fine. But the socket which in all regards SHOULD fit inside the wrench, does Not.To be fair, after looking at the listing again they do sorta off handedly say this... it does not say it in the description but the video shows the socket does not fit inside the wrench, and pictures state to use "a regular socket" when re installing the pulley.but it begs the question, why buy a kit with a socket that doesn't fit? when there are kits that do?The chances are high that even with an impact, * Like for me.* it didn't just zip off. So you may need a socket that fits in the wrench for removing it, and Definitely will for re installing...it was almost like they ordered this kit with the idea it would fit, it didn't, and they said sell it anyway.Point being is... if you are buying this kit its to utilize it to the fullest, buy a different kit and verify the socket fits in the wrench... there are other identical kits out there that work how the original design is supposed to work. do yourself a favor and buy one of those.

Works great.Yes it is a little sloppy on the bolt.It's made that way intentionally.That's what makes it work.No you will not round the bolt offHolder works well.2012 crv crank bolt, dewalt corded 1/2in impact gun.

Nice to have
Nice to have when you need it. Use it one time and it has paid for itself. Nice to have a tool for the crank pulley at a reasonable price.
