refurbished iPad
My Ipad dropped and shattered while I was away. needed a new one ASAP.Saved $$ and reduced my carbon footprint. Works great!

it was pretty stiff. Once opened it took a nano sim ...
I needed a replacement for a aging Ipad2. This was the most cost effective replacement (wifi and cellular) with adequate memory 64gb that I could find. It arrived as advertised. Only gripe was difficulty opening the sim slot, it was pretty stiff. Once opened it took a nano sim card, which was part of my old micro sim card, just had to pop it out. Called Cellular and the new ipad was activated w/o any problem. The display was excellent as expected and it was much faster than my old ipad. Update to latest OS 11.1 proceeded w/o problem (old I pad OS was no longer being supported.). All in all, at least so far, I am very happy with this product.

An old ipad with plenty life for spesific needs
I got this deal under $175.Is an old ipad so, does not support a whole load of apps. I feel a bit slow (1 ~ 3 sec to open some apps).For me, I was looking a 64gig storage to put a decent music collection in it for offline play.When I use it, even the calendar take up to 2 sec to open. Since I got it for some basic office work calendar notifications, emails and so) and offline music play, this does not bother me.I was thinking that with a cellular chip I could make regular calls as well. But nope. It only got network connectivity for not having 100% dependencies on wifi (improve portability). So making regular calls will not work. Facetime and others will with cellular network or wifi.The package was well presented, with a generic charger, the astetic was like new, not blended, all corners intact, barely usage wear signals.For me this is more than enough. Some others will consider a dead device.

Refurb purchased from Apple via Amazon does not hold charge. Apple support has sucked beyond belief
I purchased this IPad through Amazon and received it 2 days ago, on October 1. I plugged it in to charge and it showed 100% charge. However, from the first, when unplugged the device would function for a few minutes and then shut down. When the attempt to restart it on battery was made the device would show only the totally discharged battery icon (black battery outline with red stripe on bottom). Plugged in again it would boot up and operate showing 43% battery, but shut down when external power was removed. I understand that defective devices are sometimes shipped. The horror part of the story follows: I contacted apple support by phone with the typical 20 minute delay to get someone. The support person , after gathering the information and having me run the experiment one more time referred me to a supervisor. I then, working with the supervisor, downloaded the remote diagnostic and the supervisor reviewed the results. He determined that Apple service would need to see the device, but when told that the closest Apple store was over 45 miles away, set up an appointment at a local BestBuy in Hyannis, MA.I drove the 25 minutes to Best Buy today for my appointment, arriving early and check in at the "Genius Bar". The person working there confirmed my appointment but then told me that as the machine was an Air 2, they could not service it. I explained that Apple sent me to them and that they needed to address the problem. The pertson on the service desk got the supervisor to talk to me and he said there was nothing they could do for me despite agreeing that they were an Apple service center and that I had a valid appointment. I then asked if they would call Apple service and determine how this problem could be addressed. The Supervisor refused to call Apple and repeatedly and obdurately told me there was nothing they would do for me, despite their being an authorized Apple service center to which I was referred with a valid appointment made by Apple with them. As an aside when I checked on the service reservation it showed as having been cancelled! Checking later using the original Case ID, the response is that no valid Case was found. Returning home I recontacted Apple support and after another 45 minutes of questions and, I assume, looking at the notes of the trouble call, the technician told me to hold while she got the apple store on the line. About 10 minutes later she returned and said the apple store did not answer and she would get a supervisor on the call. Shortly thereafter she returned to the call, not mentioning the supervisor, and told me I had to take the device to the closest Apple store, a 76 mile drive away! I have an appointment tomorrow. This is the worst response and worst support for anything that I've ever experienced. I suggest, in the strongest terms, that no one should buy a refurb machine from the apple store on Amazon.

Good Quality
Could have sent a fast charger with it , don't like the charger but it's ok the tablet has been great the grandson loves it so far so good since we have only had it since Christmas so far happy with the purchase

my son 4 years old have it for about one year and it works great, only problem a would say is to have to be sure to plug it before going to bed because it charge kind slow but also if you charge the battery will left all day
