Oliver's French Cremes (All Fruit)

These French cream candies are almost like the Merri Mints my Mom used to buy at Christmas. They are a bit pricey, but as a little treat for myself, I’m worth it. So are you. You won’t regret it!

My sister and i remember choosing French Creams at candy stores back in the 60’s and 70’s. I had little money and would buy two or three as a treat. They were lovely. Crispy but delicate sugar coating over melt in your mouth, flavorful centers. This box of fruit flavors were delicious. My only negative comment is that because they are so small, the ratio of coating to center is a little high. If they were larger, they wouldn’t be quite so sweet.

I have never had French cremes before, so I am so happy that Oliver's French Cremes are the ones that I picked to try! They are fresh with crispy outsides and soft moist insides. The lovely molded forms are so pretty and the fruit flavors are wonderful. I would buy these again.

Delicious French cremes like I remember from my childhood. Excellent.

These are called French Creams but I would liken them to sugar confections in molds. They do have fruit flavors that are excellent but the texture is not a "cream." It has a firm shell and when you bite into it, the sensation is like a jelly bean.
