Using it as Chain lube
Wanted a good chain lube for my FREEDOM 125 CNG bike. So bought it, as many recommended SAE 90 or SAE 140 be good. Since this SAE 140 be thicker than 90, i ordered this one.The oil has good viscosity, so it stays sticky in chain — the quality is fantastic. Even though there are gear oils less than this price, I went for the quality of Bosch.Those who look for chain lube, get this

I bought this for Chain Lubrication instead for Gear Oil.
I bought this Gear Oil not for its intended purpose, but as a chain lubricant for my Gixxer 155cc Bike.While it may not be the conventional choice, I was curious to see how it would perform, and the results were outstanding.Adequate Lubrication: The Bosch Gear Oil did a decent job of keeping my Gixxer 155cc Bike chain well-lubricated. It helped reduce friction and noise, which is essential for a smooth and quiet ride.Extended Application: While lubricating the chain, I even applied the oil to other parts like mono-suspension bearing components, side stand, and clutch cable, among others. The results were beyond my expectations. My bike now feels far superior to any service center maintenance I've ever experienced. I distinctly remember the day I took delivery of my bike from the showroom, and the current performance surpasses that initial feeling.Before using this oil, my bike's mileage ranged from 42km to 46km per liter. However, the very next day after applying the oil, I started getting more than 55km per liter.( actual calculation was 559km for 10l.. )I cannot speak to its effectiveness in terms of gear protection, but as a chain lubricant and all-round bike lubrication, Bosch Gear Oil has proven to be an excellent and cost-effective option. It has breathed new life into my bike, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride.
