If you need to file a gap over 1" this is the ticket. I tried some cheaper ones but they were junk. This is a bit expensive but it is HIGH quality and works great. Just spend the money on this and save yourself the hassles of a cheaper one. You will just come back and buy this anyway!

I put in a security door but then I noticed there’s a huge gap underneath and bugs or snails or squirrels. No, not squirrels but just about anything else could crawl under there so I got this thing and still not big enough so I had to add a chunk of oak in there, then put this on and it works really good. I’m very happy with it.

This door sweep is a lot better than the rubber one at keeping out leafs insects. The rubber one only lasted a few weeks and rubber cracked and fell off in pieces. The Randall door sweeps brush bottom moves with the uneven walkway I wish I would have purchased it right away

Just purchased this sweep for the farmhouse-style wood screen door on our front entry. There had been a significant gap between the bottom of the door and the threshold, which looked unsightly and made it easy for bugs to enter. We received the sweep in just a couple of days. It was about 1/4" too wide for our door, so we trimmed it with a hacksaw (took about a minute). I held it in place at the bottom of the door while my husband drove in the screws (included), and voila, problem solved. And, it looks GREAT!

I love these door sweeps. They were very easy to install. All necessary parts were included. I put them on the two doors leading into my screened-in pool enclosure. I wanted a sweep with bristles as the rubber ones degrade in the Florida sun and tend to split apart passing over the brick patio.I would highly recommend this product and company to anyone looking for a quality product.
