I love this powder. I used to use a finishing powder by the oh-so-popular MAC, but then my beloved powder was discontinued! I was truly upset. Now... you may be wondering how I go from something like MAC to this $4.50 Maybelline powder? Who knows - but I’m glad that I randomly stumbled upon this stuff.Lots of people complain about the fact that it breaks into a million pieces while en route to your home. I’ve only had 1 powder (out of maybe 10) arrive broken, but Amazon immediately sent me a replacement. I didn’t even need to send the broken one back. Nice.The only complaint that I have is the AMOUNT of powder per container. It doesn’t last long at all, unfortunately. I wear makeup pretty much every single day, and I would say that 1 container lasts maybe 2-3 weeks. But it’s so cheap, that I don’t really mind. I just subscribe & save to a few every month.The powder itself is great. I would consider the coverage about medium. It does a nice job blending in with my foundation for a nice, matte look. It also doesn’t get cakey after a few hours of wear. Definitely give this product a try!

My favorite compact that is under $35 ! Compares to lancome dual finish pressed powder, my favorite. It sometimes has too much of a silky feel to it, and thats why it is my second favorite of all pressed powders. But it is great for middle aged skin and older, no chalky look and dosent cake up around fine lines. I love the radiant finish it gives, makes skin look younger, healthier and smooth ( i have problematic skin and you cant tell with it on). It has a full coverage, I can put moisturizer on and it over and have enough coverage, if wearing foundation, make sure to blend it well and put only a thin coat on, otherwise you will look like you played in the kids paint instead of make up. Warning- do not carry in a make up bag or your purse, it probably will crumble. And if it does, you still can use it just crush it up as fine as you can and blend well. But if kept in a make up box and not banged around, it will hold together just fine.

I have gotten so many compliments on my makeup after switching to this powder! Amazing what a small change can do to your whole look. A couple notes:-The powder is very, very fine but somehow doesn't settle into pores.-Pretty matte finish. My skin is on the oily side so this is a must. I use highlighter for the parts I want to glow and let this powder take care of my trouble spots.-Long lasting - at least for a drugstore powder. I work about 9-10 hours a day in an office setting and this one holds up reasonably well. More meticulous people would probably want a touchup.Two cons:-The color for 120 Classic Ivory is slightly darker in the powder than it is for the 120 Classic Ivory in their super stay full coverage line. It's not super noticeable and looks fine on my skin, but it's a little odd to me that they aren't a perfect match.-The design of this compact kinda annoys me. You have to flip up the portion that contains the powder to get to a mirror, then flip it back down to get more powder. Too much flipping for me. I'd rather just have the mirror on the top portion like a classic compact.

Definitely cannot go by price when it comes to cosmetics. I've found some of the very best are inexpensive & the worst cost a small fortune. This powder out performs any of the department store brands for sure. I'm into my 3/4 century age so I've had time to do a LOT of experimenting. I like a product that's easy to apply, lasts, doesn't shift into my now uneven textured skin, & is natural looking. Cannot stand that 'powdery' look that some kinds give you. This product is the perfect finish for holding your makeup in place & giving you a finished look without looking made up is what I'm trying to say. I only like a 'natural' look & this powder as a finish gives it to me. Sometimes if I'm going to want my makeup to last 'extra' long, I'll give my face a mist of water from a fine spray bottle, but usually not needed. Just feels good when it's hot out I guess.

I bought this product and there is no sponge? I’d really like a replacement or refund because I can’t use this one

Very disappointed. I Will buy in the store next time so I can inspect the product. Receiving the powders broken makes it harder to use, as it spills and waste every time you open it, so it doesn't last near as long. This is a product I use every day as a part of my make up routine. Once the powder is broken, it gets on your clothes and spills in my purse.

I bought this powder because it came highly recommended by one of my favorite makeup youtubers, Marlena from Makeup Geek, and just had to try it because she has never led me astray in the five years I've been watching her videos. It is so light and comfortable to wear, works well as a foundation on its own, as a setting powder for concealer or to help control shine throughout the day, (which is huge to me because I rarely wear makeup because my skin is so oily that I go from matte and on point to shiny plastic slick in the blink of an eye.) I love that I can apply this with a brush, a sponge, or a powder poof and it has nice packaging. I was so happy to find that the color worked for me, I am really pale and a lot of foundations and powders make me look like I'm wearing really bad Jersey Shore-worthy fake bake. This is definitely one that I will purchase in a darker shade for use as a contour as well!
