Works great as a catch tray for my humidifier!
This 10x14 tray was the perfect size to use as a catch tray underneath a small humidifier that sits on my bamboo floor and seems to leak when looked at wrong. During my search, most of the trays I found were too large, were brightly colored, or seemed made of cheap plastic. So, when I found this I was super happy. The dark brown color is subtle against my flooring. I really like that the interior of the tray is rubber lined instead of smooth plastic, so its grippy. The underside of the tray has slightly raised little feet to set it up off the floor so that it doesn't fit flat. That's great for this use because should a little bit of water get between the bottom of the tray and the flooring, it will have a chance to dry out instead of seeping into the seams of the floor planks. The lip of the tray is just deep enough to catch some water but not act as a "bucket". If I weren't using it to catch leaks from my humidifier, I'd certainly consider using it as a table top tray to organize small houseplants together, or as a tray in the bathroom to group things together on the vanity, or even as a pet feeder tray for a cat or small dog. There are so many potential uses, and it seems pretty sturdy. Nice and strong, not cheap or flimsy at all. Great value! I'm glad I found it.

Great small tray with grip
I was looking for a small tray that had some kind of grip to prevent things from sliding on it. This was perfect and the size was great. It feels of good quality and doesn't feel cheap at all. I feel like this is something that could be a little cheaper, but it's not that high of a price for what you get.

Durable, sturdy.
Very sturdy. I use to feed outside cats. Load it up with bowls of 10 cans of food. Washes easily. Don't recommend the dishwasher. Turns them chalky looking, but it cleaned up fine with hand washing. Had one for about 7 years. Still looks new.

Awesome Quality - And really Heavy Duty for a Dinner Tray !!!
We had ordered some Trays from another Manufacturer. They were made with really thin Plastic. Once the Trays were loaded and we picked them up from one end or the other, they would twist a little under the load. We decided to give these Trays a chance. What a Differencethere was. These Trays are at least twice as thick, as the other Trays we had purchased. Best of all, the surface of these Trays are covered in a thin layer of soft rubber. Once you put the Plates on the Tray, there is no way they will slide off of that tray so long as you are keeping the Tray fairly level. Trust me folks, you will not be disappointed in this Product, period. We even use one to set the Dish Rack in to collect the Run Off !!! Get these, Get it right the first time !!!

Sturdy, non-slip, and a convenient size
I have another non-slip tray (the circular Winco TFG-14K) that we got years ago as a "place mat" for a cat who was a very sloppy eater, and it worked perfectly for that. Lately I had been using that tray for my dinner, but the round shape was awkward for that purpose, plus I would have preferred a more mellow color than black. This new tray (12x16" in brown) is the perfect size and shape, and a nice chocolate-y color, plus it seems to be just as sturdy and shape-stable as the other one. My only complaint is that only the non-slip surface is brown, while the tray itself is gray. I call that a minor problem, though, because unless you turn the tray upside-down, all you really see is the brown.Another thing I like better is that this one, which just arrived today, has no detectable odor, whereas the other tray took a while to air out and stop smelling like old rubber tires (which may well be what the non-slip surface was made from). One pointer for anyone who's not accustomed to a non-slip tray: The rough surface tends to trap anything that's been spilled, so it can't just be wiped clean. A good way to clean it is set it down somewhere level and put in enough water to cover the bottom. If you've spilled anything greasy on it, stir in some dishwashing detergent. Let it set a little while, then scrub it lightly with a fingernail brush or a vegetable brush. Rinse, drain, and prop up to air dry.

Better Than I Expected.
Sturdy, rubber bottom (no slipping of items placed on the tray). I'll probably order several more.

If you value function over aesthetics, this is the tray you want
I looked for a long, long time through dozens of "serving tray" search results. They are either really small (buyer beware - look at the dimensions when buying), or they are really bright colors that I don't like, or they are made of materials that will scratch, warp, stain, etc.I wanted a large tray suitable for carrying full meals, drinks, side dishes for me and my girlfriend from the kitchen to the table or living room. This is the tray to do it. It's commercial grade, like what they use in restaurants. It has an awesome non-skid surface that isn't "sticky" but also won't allow items to slip. It's rugged, sturdy, and made of fiberglass. The only warning for you is you'll need to clean it with a stiff brush under running water. The non-skid surface can allow crumbs and debris to accumulate and you'll need something with stiff bristles to really clean it up good. I would buy this tray all over again.Buy with confidence if you truly want something large, sturdy, and functional.
