Dark brown bottle- as it should be.
First off- quality was 100% perfect, no white floatys. I prefer my formaldehyde in these dark brown bottles as it helps to prevent light from penetrating as easily as some of the other sellers on amazon who are packaging formaldehyde in clear bottles.(Regardless of the bottle tint never let your formaldehyde set out within light exposure for extended periods of time as it will weaken)

Great product
It sure does the job. Do NOT smell this chemical and do not get it in your eye. Almost as bad as being pepper sprayed. Remeber that for invertebrates you only need rubbing alcohol.

Just what I needed for white line

Worthless wasted my money
Product had leaky cap that allow chemicals to get all over the bottle. Plus the bottle has a half inch of white powder on the bottom (Paraformaldehyde) thus making the bottle worthless. I bought this to treat marine fish disease. Paraformaldehyde will kill the fish. But that probably happened during shipping. Formalin does not keep well at cold temperatures.

Exactly what is advertised - It's formaldehyde stabilized with methanol
This is exactly what is advertised I don't understand the bad ratings, its not the sellers fault you used the product wrong or the product didn't work for what you expected to use it on, maybe stop reading stupid advice from facebook groups or forums. It's a chemical and if you use it incorrectly that's on you but as far as I can tell it's exactly what they advertise it as. It was packaged very well to prevent any spilling, if there is any spilling there was secondary containment and the spilling is probably from the mishandling of the logistics company that delivered it to you. Some white residue indicates paraformaldehyde formed on the bottom while being stored - this is not an issue and tends to happen to formaldehyde solutions, the methanol should prevent this but if it doesn't a good shake, or heating the solution slightly should re dissolve the paraformaldyde back into solution.
