TL/DR Good product. Must be taken consistently at the same time each day with at least 8 ounces of water.This works really well. It’s very gentle. Two important things I learned about taking it are that you need to take it with a lot of water every time and that it’s very important to take it at the same time every day or night. I take mine at the same time every night and I try to drink at least 24 ounces of room temperature water. I used to suffer from pretty bad constipation and this has helped a lot. No need to get the brand name stuff. This is perfectly fine. For me this was way better than Milk of Magnesia which had awful side effects. This Quality Choice Fiber Therapy is methylcellulose (the well known brand name for this is Citrucel). Methylcellulose does not ferment whereas psyllium (known commonly as brand name Metamucil) can cause some gas and bloating due to fermentation. The fermentation can actually help the microbiome but for me it causes too much gas and bloating which can be avoided by taking methylcellulose instead. I highly recommend Quality Choice Fiber Therapy.

This fiber capsule really works so gently.

This is the only type of fiber I can use without any issues. The price is great, as I have paid almost twice as much for the same pill count.

I started buying these Methylcellulose capsules when Citrucel was very hard to find. They cost less and seem to work as well. My one complaint is that the Quality Choice capsules are far more likely to break in the container than the Citrucel capsules.

Could not find Citrucel anywhere for a while and could not find the store brand that I usually bought in a pinch. My husband hates Metamucil so I tried these. He had no issues so I’m happy I found these.

The product itself is fine. I’ve now had two issues (out of five times ordering) with receiving the item - once it was cancelled and another when it wasn’t included in my order. I’m trying one more time since quality and value is good.
