These work and you don't have to see the dead critter
These traps were easy to use and helped get rid of a mouse problem in my house. Other than one trap that would not stay triggered (probably because the peanut butter I used as bait is greasy), these traps really worked. The design is pretty ingenious. There is a sticky patch on the bottom that you peel back, insert some bait (peanut butter worked well for me), put the patch back in place, twist the trap until it clicks into place as SET. Put it where the mice will find it and then later, check to see if the marks on top indicate that you have caught your mouse. Pitch the whole thing and put another trap together if needed. Easy peasy.

Useless floor pucks
I like the concept that it instantly kills, I don't have to see the dead mice, and is safe around my dogs. Unfortunately, these are ineffective.First, a few of the traps were difficult to set. They wouldn't click and remain in the SET position. I had to turn, squeeze and then gently set them down.Secondly, baiting the traps is easy although a couple of the labels that cover the bait area were not placed correctly and left small gaps on the side. The labels should be larger so it has better coverage. I don't want the mice to access the bait from underneath.Lastly, I have had 3 false "snaps" with no mice caught. The traps are getting triggered from SET to NOT SET.Traps are way too expensive. At this point, I would rather used open traps and see dead mice than to see a live one scurry across the floor.

Great trap
This is the best trap. It works. No mess and you do not see the dead mouse after it is trapped. Sad but I can't have it my house.

They work but quality could be a little better
We purchased these a long time ago and only just got around to using them because we're softies and wanted humane traps to work (they did not, the mice always come back). We put down 4 last night and caught a mouse within the hour. My only complaint is the quality is a little cheap, it's hard to see the indicator and the sticker over the bait hole is not great. But they do work!

Super efficient
They are a little hard to bait and set but boy do they work!

Works, but finding the right bait was a process
This mouse trap worked well as intended. It's easy to bait, set, and clean up was as simple as just putting it in the trash. We finally caught a mouse with this mouse trap after figuring out what food to use as bait. The peanut butter and chocolate chip combo didn't work.Out of curiosity, I used cheese as bait. The cheese didn't work.Dry dog food (kibble). Nope again.Apparently, our seasonal mouse visitor(s) are foodies that preferred our chicken alfredo leftovers. I stumbled upon this option by accident. So, I used a little of the chicken and broccoli florets as bait and rubbed some alfredo sauce on top of the mouse trap for good measure.I used disposable gloves to handle the bait and trap (I was trying to keep my scent off the bait as much as possible).I placed the mouse trap in an area where Jerry was active. In our case, that was mainly at night, in the kitchen. We placed two (2) mouse traps along the wall/cabinet on the floor. And by the morning, we caught a mouse. The indicator switch on top of the mouse trap will be in the "mouse caught" position (the switch will be in the Red area) and the trap will be "slightly" heavier with the weight of the dead mouse inside. It is completely concealed inside the trap. Clean-up was as simple as placing the used trap in a trash bag.In summary, if you haven't caught your mouse visitor yet - I sympathize - it took us ~ 4 weeks for us to even catch ONE mouse)I'll suggest what worked for us:- Disposable gloves for setting bait or setting the traps - to keep your scent off the bait- Try different bait - use your leftovers, rub that stuff all over the outside of the mouse trap- Keep notes of what worked/didn't work for youI hope this helps!

Traps for those who prefer not to see the victim .
This trap is easy to set and you never have to see the trapped victim. While it is a once and done trap that costs more because it is not reused, the convenience and cleanliness of "just throw away" makes it worth while. Traps have worked very well.

If only the build was (a lot) more sturdy - sort of works sometimes
Like: If it works a very clean way that can be handled by all household members. We purchased 2 traps at first, both caught a mouse - greatDislike: Turned out there were more mice. Bought 4 next time. One could not even be set, it did not click in the set/arm position. A second one was found next morning either self triggered or mouse triggered (?) no mouse though. One more triggered into self-destructed mode, the top came off, could not be re-armed, very clean garbage 2 of 4.Still bought some more thought the second batch might be an exception/lemon. So far, 2 self destructed with top blown off one in the middle of the night in our bedroom, 2 not triggered at all.In summary, 2/2 followed by 1/4 by 0/4 makes 10 traps used, 1 not functional, 4 self destruct, 3 mice caught, two in the wild waiting for mice to visit. That is a 30% success rate and a 50% miserable quality rate. IMHO do not buy.Unfortunately I cannot return the self destructed or any of the items.
