Beautiful restoration
Wonderful. Light-weight. Install easily. Everyone comments on the new tin ceilings, even when I say they are "faux". Look real and enrich an old victorian house.

Easy
Looks so good and easy to cut and install. Made this pop up Reno look so much better. It is styrofoam so it won’t add weight to the camper, is easy to install, can be painted and caulked, and looks so good. I used a caulking glue and it stays in place with the addition of some strips.

Styrofoam!
Unlike similar products which are made of plastic, these are totally cheap Styrofoam. I can't imagine any application for these. Even on a ceiling they would easily become damaged. Because they are Styrofoam and not plastic, the design is not very crisp or well defined either. If you were to paint these (which you'd absolutely have to) the design would be even blobbier.

Beautiful
These are beautiful installed and painted you would think you're looking at tin. Put them in our bathroom. Love um. Be sure you measure it out to see where your pattern will fall. The glue we used was awesome.

You have to see it up to believe.
I was completely skeptical about these tiles. When I first got them, I almost sent them back. Another reviewer said they look much better up than you think from the cheap styrofoam. These things look amazing up and once painted with cheap ceiling paint, you wouldn’t know they were foam. These are directional so make sure you line them up the right direction. Cutting them was easy with scissors. I was planning to use them temporarily until I could get a contractor to come patch my plaster ceiling but these look great and I did it myself in just a couple of hours. It took more time to caulk and paint than to glue these up. Way easier than doing the textured wallpaper. I’ve ordered more to do more rooms because I love the look.

Looks good, but inconsistent sizes and colors
We were skeptical about this type of tile, but our order of Armstrong tiles came in a month late and all busted up. We had no time to wait another month get them replaced so we turned to Amazon and their free fast shipping to get us out of a jam (Thanks Amazon!). Used Loctite Power Grab adhesive and it worked great to put a nickle size dollop on each bead intersection and all corners a little more heavily. Press each spot of adhesive hard enough to mash it flat and get good adhesion.Pros:1. They were well enough packaged that they arrived in excellent shape, no dings, dents or damage of any kind. We way over ordered to cover any shipping damage and did not have one damaged tile.2. They look really nice when installed, IF you don't look too close.3. They were opaque enough they hid the differences between light and dark sheetrock and black screw heads. Nothing of any kind has shown through at all. That was a real concern when you see the patchwork of our ceiling.4. They are really tough! I ended up using my knuckles to mash some of the glue spots to get them flat and no matter what I did it never left a mark in the tile, until I stuck it with a fingernail. Definitely avoid sharp or hard things around them, that will leave a mark.CONS:1. Inconsistent sizes. These tiles have different sides and that was easy enough to keep matched up. The complaint is, when the "beads" are lined up often the corners of one tile does not meet with the corners of the others. It changed from pack to pack. -1 star2. Inconsistent colors! One box of 96 tiles were all the same, but when we opened the other box to start using them they were way whiter! See the photo of the one that showed the difference. We had to pull it down and scrounge through what we thought was going to be scrap or edges and fill in what would be the most obvious if it were different. -1 star3. Inconsistent embossing. The 96 pack were all kind of a soft embossed pattern, at least they all matched. Some had spots that were barely recognizable as embossed. The second box, the ones that were noticeably whiter, were also more deeply and crisply embossed (see picture). They were actually the better looking tile, but we did not know that until we were 3/4ths done with the ceiling and there were not enough to have used them first anyway. They ended up being used for the narrow edge fill in so it is not as obvious, but my OCD makes me twitch to look at it. -1 star4. Really expensive for what it is.Overall, I might use these again in the future. They can look really nice and are very easy to cut and work with, but I would open every package first and confirm they are all the same size, embossing and color. I now have more work to do to caulk the seams where tiles that were slightly smaller didn't meet edgewise good enough to cover the Sheetrock below. No, this is not because we matched the wrong edges, they really are somewhat inconsistent in size pack to pack. If I were painting them it might not be such a big deal, but I have neither the time or ambition to paint them.

repeat pattern done nicely
needed a roller to smoosh to ceiling. even with extreme nails super duper gluey glue. but pattern looks nice and easy to match up.

Poor consistency and quality control
We like the product and our DIY project turned out nicely, however there are issues. After realizing 1 bundle wouldn't be enough we had to order another. So, we got 1 bundle in 2 separate orders just 8 days apart ... but they turned out to be very different. Still, we moved ahead with our project because we had a deadline of sorts. Between the two orders the thickness was different, the pattern dimensions were not identical, and the color was not the same. One had a crisp, clean, and more glossy white appearance; whereas the other was more matte and had more beige to it. Ultimately, the differences aren't visible with a quick glance or in dim lighting, but if you study the ceiling then you'll see the variations and won't be able to un-see them. Two different colors, varying thickness, and imperfect seams. Additionally, we found that construction adhesive did not work whatsoever, however hot glue worked like a charm. Buy with caution.
