Sabatino Tartufi Sea Salt, Truffle, 14 Ounce

Someone gave me this truffle salt years ago and it finally used it all so I ordered more. I love it on sweet potatoe fries and french fries. It seems expensive for salt, but it lasted several years.

This is the best Truffle Salt hands down!!!!

I've been using this black truffle salt for years and, when looking for more online, found it in this large container. Now I can refill the smaller jar I have, send more to the kids, and share some with friends. The large container is very cost effective vs. the smaller jars of the same item. It adds the most amazing flavor to things I cook -- and it's one of my favorite "secret" ingredients.

This is the second time I have purchased this product. I ordered a few different brands to compare. The fragrance is complex warm and creamy - Although the other brands had a stronger fragrance initially they faded quickly (probably because of fragrance enhancers). The taste of this brand is much richer, deeper and lasts for months not days! The flavor is earthy and complex. I feel it is absolutely the best buy on amazon.

This salt is amazing. We use it on eggs, barbecued meats, pasta and cheeses. Once you try truffle salt, you'll never go back to standard table salt for any food finishing.

I OPENED THIS AND THIS salt did not taste the same as the same product in smaller containers Maybe its the seller having VERY old product. $41 down the drain.
