Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Spring Kit - Fits 2015-2020 F-150 4WD - 57385

I did this myself. Took about 2.5 hours initially. There is one point I would make. If you have a stock suspension truck, you won't need the spacers regardless of the measurement.MEASURE YOU TRUCK RIDE HEIGHT ON A LEVEL SURFACE BEFORE YOU START!!That is not in the manual, but you will need to know it when you are done to verify the truck is at its normal ride height. Keep in mind all of your alignments are based on this height. To adjust your final pressures once the trailer is hooked up, you will need to compare the heights and adjust your air pressure to return it to this height.I had these installed with the spacers then looked at the backend of the truck. It looked too tall. I took measurements after and couldn't determine if it was higher or not. I took them out which took another hour. i called tech support the following day to ask if they were needed. He said, the spacers are only for certain models, and mine wasn't one. 2019 F150 quad cab lariat 4X4 sport.Other than that one point, these installed fairly quickly without any problems. The ride is great, and it leveled out my truck when towing a 16" tandem axel covered trailer. Please with the product and the support. Highly recommend these if you need to level out your truck.

Right to the point, this air ride kit works with the BW turnball hitch on a 2018 F150 Platinum.You have to force the U bolt on the top over the frame, but it doesn't damage the threads, and it easily flexes into the holes on the airbag bracket. The kit took roughly two hours to install, and I had no issues with it going together what so ever. I purchased A Y to join the air bags together instead of having each one have its own valve. I've found it works much better set up that way. My kit did not come with the exhaust heat shield shown in the description, but the bag is far enough away from the exhaust that it doesn't cause issues. Some of the bolts won't be able to be tightened with an impact or torqued due to their location. I just went by feel using a box end wrench, and nothing has come loose. Watching YouTube videos, apparently that's how even E-trailer installers do it.It's been a week, and I haven't found any leaks. I would totally recommend this kit.

The AirLift Loadlifter 5000 is a quality product. The installation was straightforward with one minor glitch in the manufacturer's installation instructions. This seller worked closely with me until the issue was resolved after contact was made with the manufacturer. The issue was no fault of the vendor, Trends Auto. Nonetheless Trends Auto worked diligently to resolve the issue and the installation was completed with only a minor delay. Thanks Trends Auto and Air Lift for wonderful service.

Works as advertised. Can be slightly challenging install but nothing mind boggling. Took about an hour. Supplied lines don't leak and install easily through the license plate holes if that's the application you choose to do. Definitely want to fill to the minimum when driving unloaded as any air roughens the ride absent the weight.

Installed these air bags on my 2016 F150 5.0 with a 4" lift. I needed to use a 2" spacer with the bag due to the preexisting 4" lift on the truck. The entire install only took me about 2 hours by myself and that was taking my time. I followed the written instructions and had watched a utube video the night before. Super easy don't take I to a professional that will charge $$. This is definitely something that you can do yourself. Besides the basic tools I also used a osselating tool to cut away a bracket and a hydraulic jack to lift the body to create distance between he the axle and body to fit the airbag inplace. I routed the airlines to the license plate and that has worked out well. I tow a 7500 lbs travel trailer and boy did it make a huge difference in towing. I now have no squat and breaking/control ability significantly improved. The only downside is that when not towing it is stiffer than it use to be. But I'm ok with that.

I have an f150 with 2” level…..I Added a slide in pop up camper and was having sag in the rear….added the airbags with the help of a friend and sag is gone. We were a couple of old guys putting on……it was semi tuff but got it done…..hardest part was matching the screws to the holes…..be patient and it’ll all come together.

Was a little difficult installing, but depends on your truck. Had a little end sag before, but now with 50 lbs. of air the rig sets up is level and does not porpoise when on bad highways. Had a friend recommend air bags since he has a bigger trailer with a f150 and the bags solved a lot of his sag towing issues.

The product was very easy to install, and it’s perfect for my F150 5.5 bed. I installed the air spring because I purchased a 5th wheel camper, and the air spring made such a difference in the handling and breaking. I would suggest to add the exhaust wrap if not the heat shield. I used the heat wrap in the picture and it works perfectly.
