Excellent flavor and texture
Although the label indicates this is a coarse polenta, it seems to be closer to fine. I can't imagine what this brand's fine version is actually like. (If you want a truly coarse polenta, try the Alpina Savoie brand.) Regardless, the texture of this polenta is very pleasing and flavor is excellent. It does seem to require more liquid than other polenta brands I've tried. I found a ratio of 6 parts liquid to 1 part polenta works well. I use half milk/half chicken broth. 3 cups of milk/broth to 1/2 cup polenta makes 4 servings. Bring liquid to a boil, add salt, whisk in polenta and stir for about 5 minutes or until liquid is fully absorbed. Cover and put in a 275 degree oven for 40 minutes and it will come out perfectly cooked and perfectly smooth. Finish with butter, a dash of cream, chopped herbs, and parmesan cheese and you won't be able to stop eating it. Make a larger batch if you want leftovers.Edited 6/8/22 - One reviewer complained that the polenta is hard like a brick. The package is vacuum sealed, so, yes, it's like a brick. Just open it to let the air in, and then you'll see it's perfectly normal polenta.

Top quality
I was hosting a fancy dinner party for friends and wanted to wow them with a creamy polenta with boneless short rib. They actually applauded. Very nice product.

OK Polenta
It's an OK polenta meal, but even though labeled coarse, it's just normal fine.
