Love This Shapewear—My Go-To!
Love, love, love this Maidenform body briefer-wear your own bra. It’s my go-to for slimwear, perfect for smoothing and shaping under any outfit. The fit is amazing, providing just the right amount of support and comfort. I’ve tried others, but this is by far one of the best. The only other brand I truly love as much is ShaperMint. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable and flattering slimwear!

Yes, I would like to look thinner than I am.
So I ordered this in 2 different sizes, XL (My normal top size) and XXL. I ordered 2 sizes so I could have one for more casual wear, just for "smoothing" and one of sucking in. Though I honestly could have gone up another size. The first time I put this on it was a disaster. It got all rolled up and I got stuck. Thankfully my friend was there to help my shimmy into it. TIP: step into and pull it up by the straps so it doesn't roll. Goes on easily after that. It's nice that it comes undone so you can use the bathroom without sliding the whole thing down. The closure is just like a bra. Really easy to undo. However, redoing it, especially if you have a bit of a belly (credits to my mom bod) like me, is more difficult. The clasps keep everything sucked in and when you undo them the thing springs up and it's hard to shove all of your fat back in there. So I try to avoid liquids when I wear it.Which brings me to my next point, it actually is pretty comfortable to wear. I have another one without the straps and it has elastic at the rib cage instead that gets very uncomfortable very quickly. My ribs hurt for days afterward. This one doesnt. I wish the straps were longer though. They're a little too snug on my shoulders. And for some reason they are kind of at an angle so I can't cover them up with a tank top. Definitely something I'd only wear with a short sleeve shirt (or anything with more coverage) so you can't see them.I wouldn't wear this every day, but I feel like I could if I really wanted to. I don't like to be binded. I don't like to wear bras. I don't like to wear underwear. I don't like socks. And I really don't like shoes. So that is just me. It's great if I want to wear a dress and don't want to be super lumpy loozing or if I want to squeeze into some prepregnancy shorts or jeans or something. It makes me feel good while I move toward my weightloss goals. So Yay to summer clothes and looking 20 lbs lighter.

Sucks you in
I bought this garment due to being 11 weeks postop for body lift and trying so many different faja garments and women’s compression garments to help with the swelling.I’ve spent probably $500 on different Dana’s and compression garments over the past three months after surgery and this provides better compression than the surgical grade marina garment that is recommended from my doctor. I bought the same brand in the past when I was 150lbs Overweight, just a different style than this one and it really snatched me in and was comfortable enough to wear all day at work as a nurse. The only thing I wish was the crotch did not snap because I’ve noticed over the past three months constantly having to wear these compression garments that the crotch area tends to rip within 1 to 2 months so I keep having to replace them and some do start to lose their stretch, but this brand seems to keep the shape and continue to suck you in the same!!!I figured I would try to give this compression garment A tryy due to the good price, I had a really good experience in the past with this brand of compression garment, and I did not have to spend another hundred dollars on the medical grade compression garment faja for it to rip again, this crotch area does seem more reinforced then the other garments I have purchased from the other companies!!!

Impossible to un-snap
Now, this does suck my tummy in nicely, which is why I’m keeping it. I don’t want the hassle of a return. But I have to take my shirt off and pull this down like underwear every time I use the restroom because the snap is unreachable. It’s SO FAR away! This also makes you thighs pop, and I’m just gonna live with that because it’s better than the line created by having the shorts.Second, it’s a smidge on the small side. I have a long torso and it barely fits even though I ordered what I am in sizes for everything else. Don’t size down for sure. Depending on your shape, maybe size up. It will still smooth you out.Love that it diminishes the back bumps by bra straps.

Definitely not the same material it used to be
I have used this brand of spanx for many years and never in the 10+ have I bought 2 brand new pairs and within 1 month they have holes in them already and they are in the seams so they are just coming apart. I will have to stop purchasing bc it’s just throwing money away. Not even one month old and useless but cost almost 50 bucks.
