Xylitol has a 'cooling' taste and I actually prefer it to sugar. But the main reason I am using this product (its expensive) is for its health benefits and tooth protection. Avoiding sugar is essential especially as you get older and less active, so to avoid diabetes switch to something like Xylitol. The price is around 5 to 10 times that of regular sugar, so I don't totally avoid regular sugar when baking, but substitute 50% for Xylitol, which helps it go further. This particular brand is a good price and so I will keep buying it because regular sugar is not a healthy option and you will already intake enough of it through normal regular food, so anything you can do to reduce it is good. Never take anything in excess, so vary what you eat, don't avoid some things that might seem bad, because most things are just fine if you vary what you eat and don't eat too much of any one thing like cakes ... LOL

Great product. We have replace all sugar in our household with Nature Diet Xylitol, ideal for cooking, baking, sprinkling on cereal and added to drinks. Perfect for my husband now he is a diabetic.

Best value for money

I can highly recommend this Xylitol Sugar as far as taste, quality and value for money of product is concerned. However it might be a good idea to prepare an empty Coffee jar to store your sugar in rather than thinking about keep it in the packaging it was delivered in. The zip seal on my order didn’t work and the last thing we need is for our sugar to become damp. Apart from that Xylitol is fantastic as part of my weight loss as far an alternative to sugar.

Perfect substitute for sugar, tastes just the same in tea and coffee and is fine to use in baking too. Supposedly it's good for your teeth because the plaque bacteria try to eat it and starve because they can't get calories from it just like we can't.

Good value for money. Tastes just like sugar. Very fine texture makes it ideal for baking
