Works a treat upgrading the SSD in a Mac Mini (late 2014)
I wanted to upgrade the 250Gb SSD in my Mac Mini (late 2014). The SSD slot in a Mac Mini is non-standard, but thanks to this converter I was able to purchase a 2TB M.2 Nmve SSD with a standard connector (see https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QM2HD7B/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_0x53EbV4N770Y) and use that. The converter is marked 'Mac Book' but I can vouch that it also works with a Mac Mini (late 2014). Here's how:1. Ensure that your Time Machine backup is up to date.2. You'll need a special TR6 screwdriver to open up the Mac Mini case and a T5 screwdriver to unscrew the existing SSD.3. Remove the old SSD and Insert the converter into the Mac Mini SSD slot.4. Insert the new SSD into the converter5. Screw both down using the screw provided with the converter. Rather confusingly a couple of other arcane screws and washers are also provided, but I didn't need them.6. Replace the base of the Mac Mini case.7. Plug in a wired keyboard (I understand that step 8 is in theory possible with a wireless keyboard, but it's much easier with a wired one).8. Hold down the three keys Command (or Windows key) and Option (or Alt) and R.9. Power on the Mac Mini.10. A spinning globe will appear. Wait for Internet Recovery options to be shown.11. Use the Disk Utility to format your new SSD in APFS format.12. Choose to reInstall macOS.13. Use the Migration Assistant to copy across the data from your Time Machine Backup.Steps 1 to 9 should take much less than an hour. Steps 10 to 13 will likely take several hours.

Apple Imac 27" late 2013 Upgrade from old 1 TB HDD to 1TB SSD using this adapter is a must.
The M.2 NVME SSD Convert Adapter is a must when upgrading an 27" iMac late 2013 with an M.2 SSD.as a M.2 SSD will not fit unless you have this adapter. The performance before 110mbps read and 90Mbps write and and after 751mbps read and 747mbps write.I would high recommend this upright lots of how-to videos available on the net step-by-step.I would highly recommend this adapter as it comes with all the needed accessories and tools for fitting the adapter.

Doesn’t work with drives over 2TB Mac Pro 6.1
I used this adapter in several MacBooks and it has been great. It also works fine IF you use a drive 2TB or under in a Mac Pro 6.1. I thought it was my Crucial P3 but had a couple of people confirm these work in 6.1. All updated firmware on all devices so only variable was this adapter. The moment I bought the Sintech adapter my 6.1 with a 4TB now works perfectly. This is still a great adapter but if you want a 4TB drive in your machine don’t buy it!

No brainer if you have an old intel MacBook Pro/Air
Buy a Mac and only had 128/256 or 512 m.2 storage? Get this and upgrade to much faster 1, 2 or even 4tb drives. Conduct a TimeMachine backup of your Mac, download the latest version of macOS your Mac can cope with onto a USB install media. Boot up pressing the option button, format the new drive in disk utility, then install a fresh version of macOS (mine was Monterey), restore timemachine backup and voila, new Mac!! Whole process takes less than an hour. Just make sure you have the right screwbit to take off the bottom panel T5 I thinks. Super easy.

Works great !!!
Great value for money. I have a 2017 MacBook Air that I use for music creation and the ssd that was originally inside was only 128GB so I decided to purchase a higher capacity one so that I could install logic. Unfortunately apple have a proprietary connector they use for there SSDs making it expensive to replace. This product saved me a lot of money and works great with the WD blue SN550 1TB drive that I installed. We will see how it performs in the future!

Works with 2015 Mac Book Pro Retina 15"
This has been used to upgraded my 512Gb drive to 1Tb Sabrent Rocket. Disk access is now 3-5 times faster. I am not sure i've noticed a massive improvement in boot time or launch time but it is faster.2 things I found with this adaptor.1: it looks too short but once you add the 2280 ROCKET the retaining hole in the Rocket SSD is in the right place.2: Make sure you push the adaptor all the way in to the Mac connector. I wasted an hour trying to make the drive work when I had not pushed the drive in far enough.
