What I like most about this rice is all of the rice cooks evenly using my instant pot. Surprisingly, that doesn’t always happen with other rices I’ve cooked using it. Also the rice arrived sooner than expected so that’s always a plus!

This is my favourite rice and I’ve bought it on here 3 times . I’m so dissatisfied this time as it came this way… been a consumable thing, it has to be well packed and not delivered with defects

Golden Sella is a very specific type of rice called for when making various dishes from the middle east and africa. It can't be replaced if you want to capture the authentic flavors and textures. I spent a lot of time seeking out the right brand and value (some are super expensive for just 16oz!). This bag was perfect, good value for money and it cooked up beautifully in a number of dishes. Be sure to rinse it *thoroughly* until the water is practically clear, even soaking it overnight is acceptable, to get all the excess starch out, which drives home the traditional styles this rice is made for. Also, the bag is heavy duty with a sturdy ziplock style seal which I appreciate.
