The hat could’ve been made of felt, but no biggie. The backpack didn’t open, so I couldn’t fluff it out. Kids can’t take off their own outfits.

Great costume! Our hat was broken, but they sent a new one the next day and I’m sending the broken one back easily. I would holy recommend this product and seller.

True to size. Fit prefect on my 9 year old that wears a 10-12 in clothes. The head piece is made of a thicker plastic than I thought it would be. Still can be cracked I'm sure but was more durable than I had anticipated. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the string that holds on the head piece is not very comfortable. It's like a thick party hat string and my son was not a huge fan of it and the head piece was not worn for most of the trick or treating. The shell is like a blow up pool toy with velcro straps to adjust it. Overall it was cute and the main body of the costume had a soft fabric and was nicely made.

This Yoshi costume was fire. 🔥 It fit well and the detail was amazing.

Good quality and fits to size

So far I'm giving it only a 3, because while it is a very awesome idea, the hat/mask was BADLY cracked in several areas and there are quality / sloppy issues with the rest. (The eye was split, the cheek torn, and the entire back top split open in several directions.) It looks like it barely fit the package and then something heavy was dropped on it. While it isn't that flimsy "use once" type of plastic, it appears to be more of a sturdy plastic (though not heavy and still needs to be handled well even though not like a fragile item). The packaging was sloppy and results in a damaged item and therefore return hassle. Also, the saddle is inflatable, not stuffed (like the tail is). While the material is decent strength (about like what stretchy thermal clothing is made of), the threading around the cuffs / feet / neck was somewhat sloppy without the excess trimmed away (so you will need to fix this to prevent further damage). I'm trying a replacement and will see how that works out then post an update.

My 12 yr old son wore this all day for Halloween at school. He got lots of compliments on it and wore it again later in the evening for trick or treating. It’s very cute and comfortable and easy to put on and take off.
