The item holds liquid very well. I thought it would leak but I was nicely surprised. After taking the cap off the opening is big enough to pour water and soap to clean. To fill I used the funnel provided. It could be a bit bigger for easy refill but no big deal. It served it's purpose. The fun design made it easy to conceal the content.

There are so many products in this category, it's hard to figure out what to buy. I went on the basis of the positive reviews, and the fact that the artwork on the tubes was upscale, and different than many other products posted. The tubes arrived in nice packaging - beside the point, but nice. It's the product itself which is impressive. It's quality plastic, whatever that composition is, and appears well made. I tested it by filling with red wine, and carrying it around in my shorts pocket. There was no leakage. So, when necessary, I can carry it if I need to be covert about carrying around wine. It holds just a tad over 8 ounces.Note: It's hard to pour wine into the little funnel directly from a wine bottle. I discovered that if I put the wine in a 2-cup Pyrex measuring cup with a really defined spout, then it was easy to pour into the funnel.Note: Someone asked if the copy on the back of the tube was authentic, or was of the "wink" variety. I've photo'ed two tubes as examples. It is written as legitimate product copy.

My husband and I have been avid cruisers for a while. We used to sneak our alcohol on the cruises in other ways, but someone suggested I look on Amazon for empty sunscreen bottles. There are plenty to choose from on Amazon, but for me and my husband, these looked more appealing since all the bottles were different. One thing that these bottles do not have are the “tamper seals” that you can put over the hole to make them look more authentic. That was not a big concern to us because I knew no one was going to open the bottles and look inside. I used press & seal to make sure that the bottles didn’t leak and put them in a ziplock bag with all my other lotions so it wasn’t obviously hanging out alone. Maybe I think too much, but I would imagine a random bottle of bronzer or sunscreen might look suspicious if it wasn’t grouped with other bottles. Safe to say everything made it on. As far as coming back home, I kept my press and seal and used it on my bottles. My husband didn’t seal his up, so his leaked coming home. It didn’t leak out a crazy amount, but you could smell the alcohol in the bag. Just make sure to do your best to seal the bottle whatever way you can. Other than it leaking a little, I think they are a great purchase.

I was able to carry these tubes on board in my shoulder bag without any detection. However, they DO leak a bit. I didn't buy the seals, so remember to buy the seals. I taped them up really good and they still leaked. So I took them out of my suitcase and just carried them in a plastic zip lock bag, up right, along with my sunblock and other toiletries. Since they were taped up really well, I knew security was not going to have time to look at what was actually in the tubes. When on board, they were PERFECT for my virgin daiquiris and pina coladas! So moral to the story, buy the seals because they do leak without them. Great investment if you dont want to spend $$$$ on the liquor package. Just get the cheaper refreshment package (non alcoholic) and add your own liquor!
