Does a number on epoxy!
I had heard of Attack and using it to dissolve epoxy on stones, but had never tried it until now. I'm actually glad I did, and it works great on numerous types of epoxy. First, I had some mineral samples that had been epoxied (as best as I could tell) to a felted card from back in the 60's. I had tried various solvents, but the white epoxy was steadfast. I also had some turquoise rough that I had backed with "liquid steel" back in the 70's that I wanted to remove and re-back. I also had an amethyst quartz specimen that I picked up in a thrift shop had some epoxy on it from where something was glued to it at one time.Attack took care of them all. After soaking the stones for several hours in separate jars, the white "epoxy" from the 60's actually came off the mineral samples in one piece, the "liquid steel" was totally dissolved, leaving the solvent colored grey and with a grey "mud" in the bottom of that jar, and the epoxy on the amethyst quartz more or less "crystallized" and could easily be brushed away with a toothpick. And, with at least the dozen-plus various rocks and minerals I used it on, not one of them was affected by Attack, only the epoxy that was used on them. One thing to keep in mind though is that once opened, tightly closing the can with the cap still doesn't prevent it from evaporating. I took another user's tip and placed the tightly closed can in a quart mason canning jar, tightly closing that lid as well. A few days later when trying it on some more material, I opened that jar and yes, I could smell the vapors that had escaped from the can inside the jar. So, to keep your Attack around longer than if you just close the cap on the can, also store it in a quart mason jar. :)

Evaporated
Works great for my lapidary work but how do you keep it from evaporating. I bought a bottle a year ago and never opened it and it completely evaporated

This certainly works to soften cured epoxy but it isn't a magic solution
This is a highly volatile product that evaporates quickly even while it instantly destroy nitrile gloves. So follow the directions on the can carefully! It does work - I use it to remove epoxy grout that I inadvertently missrf on larger projects. If used within a day or two of grouting, the epoxy lifts off almost instantly. However, once fully cured, this product softens the epoxy (after a few minutes) so it is easier to scrape off. But if you put some on a rag and think you can wipe away the epoxy, you are going to be disappointed. Give it time, it will soften the epoxy making it easy to remove.Price is very high but it's the only product I've found to-date that actually gets the job done. If you know of a better one, please let me know with a comment. The DIY community thanks you in advance!

Miraculous product
We had several museum specimens glued with epoxy and misaligned that had been shoved into a corner and forgotten.I was surprised how fast the product worked. I checked the items after about 90 minutes and they had already come apart and after about 2 hours they were completely clean and free of any residue. The product didn't stain any of the artifacts.I'm actually shocked how great it worked!Recently used Attack on an item glued with JB weld for steel. It took a little longer than with clear epoxy but still worked great. Fumes are intense, work outside or wear a respirator.

Amazing Stuff.
Nothing works like this product for removing super glue disasters. I use it on old jewelry to rescue pieces that have been ruined by attempt to reattach broken piece with a ton of superglue or the like. Works great.

Epic Solution for an epic solution to my epoxy issue! A "must" tool for any crafter!
I have several hundred stone points that were "over epoxied" into their bail. Impossible to remove and so strong that the glue couldn't even be scraped away. I used Attack. I put several of the pieces in the solution in a glass jar, capped it, then 12 hours later the stones popped right out of the bails. The stones were not affected. I was even able to salvage and reuse the bails! I was able to use the same solution several times for many batches of stones. IMPORTANT!!!! - Use gloves and wear a respiratory mask. Very strong stuff.
