Gbaby Wanted Real
The Cullen's are the most popular vampires since Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, Interview with Vampire (gave my age away there) - Stephanie Meyers Twilight saga has attained a cult like following and Mattel has delivered a set of dolls fans will love! Over the years I've been disappointed with male barbie dolls - even when the corresponding female doll was wonderful. Not so this time. Emmett is a very well crafted doll! The first thing I must say (in case you don't read any further) ... He has Real hair! No fake, plastic, 80's hair here! His outfit is tailor fit, there are no doubled or missing stitches, no loose ends or strings, the coloring on his shirt, vest and jeans is even and rich. He's sporting shiny, black, men's dress shoes and on his right wrist - a band featuring the Cullen family crest. He's 13 in tall, has a muscular, fit body and just a hint of a smile. My granddaughter wanted papaw's, husbands and super heroes (translation=male barbie dolls) - she really doesn't like the male dolls with fake hair, so that was the reason we bought Emmett...to get real hair. Oh, she was thrilled! Now she wants the other boys in this collection. This is a quality doll that represents it's real life character down to the smallest detail. I love the Twilight books, she loves the hair - Emmett is money well spent. I recommend it without reservation.Mattel Barbie Collector The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II Rosalie DollBarbie Collector Twilight Saga Edward DollBarbie Collector The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II Bella Doll

asked for "boy Barbies" and I was disappointed by all the shoddy and underdressed Kens out there ...
High quality doll that trumps all other cheaply made Ken dolls. My daughter, age 6, asked for "boy Barbies" and I was disappointed by all the shoddy and underdressed Kens out there - c'mon Mattel, why are most of your Ken dolls "beach Ken"?! It's so you can get away with selling a doll only wearing shorts instead of a full outfit with shoes. We're on to your game!Although my daughter doesn't know who or what Twilight is, she really liked this doll because he came with high-quality, stylish clothing and shoes (they're cool loafers). His hair is also "real" rather than molded plastic, so that's another plus. Great deal on a great product!

NO to fulfillment by Amazon!
The toy itself, is nicely done. Bought 3 Twilight Barbies, all came in same shipping box. (Edward, Emmitt, Esme) for a Christmas gift.Exterior of shipping box was fine. Each and every Barbie box inside was dinged and the clear plastic on them was scratched with clear scuff marks on front and sides. Showed no care at all in handling these. Looked like boxes were rubbed and slid together across a sidewalk. I was embarrassed when I gave the collector these Barbies. I had no time to return them, but I shouldn't have had too.I am a Prime member so I tend to look for sellers with Prime. Unfortunatly, Amazon is careless when it comes to collectible figures.I have made multiple Barbie/DC action figure purchases through Prime with same result; serious scuffs and bent boxes. Unfortunately, I will not purchase any items fulfilled by Amazon for future collectibles. If you want your items in a collectible state, I recommend NOT going with orders filled by Amazon.Select a reputable seller from the seller list that knows how to handle and ship in an appropriate box. I have been burned multiple times, so I have come to expect it.Sorry, this review focused on orders fulfilled by Amazon. The Barbie itself, inside the packaging, is nicely done.If you are going to:Not open the box: go with a reputable sellerOpen the box: Amazon is fineGive as a gift: Reputable sellerIt's upsetting when you pay for Prime but can't use it for collectibles because they either don't use care in handling or stuff the item in a box that is too small.Prime gives you speed, not care.I have learned.(I will be attaching this review to the other items, so you may see this more than once.)

Emmett
The Twilight Saga "Emmett" is one of a kind. Everything about him says, HANDSOME. Receiving Emmett completes my Twilight Saga collection and Mattel has done it again. Great job, Mattel! I have no issues with Emmett or his overall appearance.

Okay, But I Wish He Wasn't So Stiff!
I must admit I didn't buy the Twilight Guys because they were Twilight Barbies. I'm not much of a Twilight fan. But I ended up getting nearly all of them because I am a huge Ken doll fan and these are all very nice looking Mattel boys. The only one I skipped was the werewolf guy because he just doesn't do it for me. I think of all of them the Jasper doll is my favorite but I really wish Mattel had articulated these guys instead of putting them on model muse bodies. They are so pale it will be very hard to find bodies that match and I would have liked bending knees and arms at least. That being said both the Emmett and the Carlisle dolls that I bought were well worth what I spent for them. The clothing is top notch and they're both fine additions to my Mattel guys.

Handsome!
Who doesn't love Emmitt. He loves life, loves being a badass vampire, and lets face it he deserves an award for putting up with Rosalie. (She's not all bad. I think the most misunderstood character in the series.) I think the mold they used is bigger than the standard mold, because Emmitt seems larger than the other boys in the family. The outfit is great, pairing him with Rosalie & the outfits they wore to Bella's unfortunate birthday party. His twinkling smile is super sexy. All the better to go along with that body!
