Excellent Tool For Polymer Clay
Great tool for polymer clay. Makes 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" thick slabs. Clay will stick to roller if it is too warm or if it is one of the softer polymer clays (Original Sculpey, Sculpey III, Fimo Soft). I use Premo! by Sculpey and have not had an issue of it sticking to the roller unless it has been overworked. When it is overworked, I let it rest for a bit. Some reviews say it has some nasty sticker on it that was hard to remove. There is no sticker on it anymore. Came in a blister pack. The only pain is that it was stapled together in a couple spots.Awesome tool, I use it all the time. Great for making perfect slabs and conditioning the clay. Much cheaper than a pasta machine and takes up very little space. Very happy with it!

Great tool!
Excellent tool for use with clay. I make clay tiles for decorating small items like small boxes. This tool allows for maintaining an equal thickness of the clay, into which I then press patterns, which gives best results for the look of the end product. The tool is easy to use. The product indicates there are 8 "nails", but that's a typo, they are rails. There are 4 sets of 2 rails each. Each set of same-height rails allows you to roll out a certain thickness of clay easily - 1/16", 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4". The rails go into grooves on the left and right side of the board, and the roller is rolled over the clay, the roller being held at the specific height of the rails that have been inserted in the board. If you have a need to roll out clay to the thicknesses described, this tool will make your craft much easier. And, of course, the rails can be left off for rolling the clay in whatever thickness you desire on a surface where it's easy to remove after rolling. There's also no reason you cannot make your own rails for different heights than those of the rails provided.

Nice product!
It is a great product but that sticker on the board took quite some work to get off. Someone else had mentioned this in a review and I ordered it anyway and that point was true. However, that aside, it does work really well but wish the tracks on each side would lock down in place. This product DOES WORK though. Clever design.

This clay roller kit is ok
The idea is great and the product looks to be made of quality materials, unfortunately, the tape they used to stick the label on it can't be removed easily which makes 'unpacking' it a bit annoying since you have to use various household items like cooking oil and dish detergent to remove the residue.

Doesn't work well with Polymer Clay!
I got this hoping it would be easier clean up and a quicker way to roll out my clay than with the pasta machine. It is AWFUL! The clay sticks to the cheap pvc pipe roller and to the surface. Even with brushing some cornstarch to prevent sticking it was still a hot mess! I ended up tossing it in my bottomless art supply drawer and pulled out the pasta machine. Not good for using with Polymer Clay projects!

Just what I needed
The Activa Clay Roller Kit is just what I looking for. I have been using it for the past month to make jewelry. It does exactly what it promises and is a good sized working surface. I have not had a problem with clay sticking to the surface of the board or rolling pin, except if the clay is too wet (water based), or too overworked/hot and oily (polymer based). No stickers were attached to the board (purchased new), so that was not a problem either. If the clay becomes unmanageable, I allow it to cool or slightly dry, depending on which clay I'm using, and then continue. The guide rails are perfect for even thickness.Since the board is plastic, I have only used my wooden/plastic cutting tools on the board because I don't want to deeply scratch the surface.

Love this clay roller kit
I'm learning many new ways to make clay beads . I have a few of the acrylic blocks to roll the clay but sometimes they are too small for larger rolls. I love this board and I was able to get it from Amazon warehouse discounted. The kit included all the listed items. There were no scratched on the board. I plan to using it for cane slices. I love this board.

Perfect for small projects
I've used it with paper clay and it works great. The clay does stick a bit, but that may be more about the clay than the surface, which is very smooth.
