Got the right part, right away.
Old one leaked. The rate system asked if it was easy to install, why I have no idea.If it broke it needs to be replaced hard, easy it doesn't really matter if you want to keep coolant in your car. There are four hoses coming out of the coolant outlet, I replaced the original three spring hose clamps with worm gearscrew clamps. Pressure tested it and it was fine.I think it was very easy to replace.

No leaks vs skp
bought a cheaper skp water housing from the rock and leaked from the start. This gm one was good no leaks. The parts looked the same so, if it leaks again I will use the other with gasket sealant but I think your supposed to put on dry. I used light coating of o-lube on the gasket. (both times) and torqued

Genuine
I purchased this to replace a third Dorman version of the same part. All the Dorman versions failed the same way, by disintegrating at the arched tube. The OEM that came with the car lasted seven years and only failed by cracking at the seam allowing me to at least make it home, so I expect similar longevity from this part. The Dormans all only lasted two years max! This part is genuine, high quality and worth the few extra dollars and extra shipping wait vs the knockoffs.

OEM the way to go
Look it's plastic it's cheap . Blame Chevy for building such a cheap car. Worst car ever. I was considering the aluminum aftermarket. After reading reviews. It's has the same problem as OEM . The bleeder valve leaks. That's why I went with oem

The best auto parts to buy have been the OEM parts for me. No leaks. No problems. A little more expensive but remove and replacing is just one time.

GM part
I have a 14 cruze and replaced this as I had a very small leak at the sensor o ring. I was going to replace the sensor and oring, but since this part has a tendency to fail with high mileage, I decided to replace. This is an original GM part, made in Germany marking. Amazon had a great price on this.
