Sport-Brella Premiere UPF 50+ Umbrella Shelter for Sun and Rain Protection (8-Foot, Gray)

I have not used this product at the beach yet, nor have I had to use the connection screw part so I cannot attest to the full sturdiness of this product. But I have use the hooks to dig into the grass at my son’s soccer game and works wonders. Ease of setup was great! Size is amazing! It was worth the buy and wasn’t expensive. I have used several times and I always get asked where I got it from. I can set it up all on my own and put away with no help. I love it.

I was looking for something that would keep me and my wagon full of gear out of the sun while waiting at some competition that I attend and saw something similar attached to a wagon. I purchased the sport brella to do the same thing. Now after a couple of competitions it works better than I thought. It provides enough shade from the sun for my self, my gear and a few friends. Definitely would buy again. One recommendation for the manufacturer would be to make the auger tip removable. I had to drill out the rivet to adapt it to my application and had to drill another hole a little higher to pin it in the holder

We bought this for when we bring our kids to the beach so they can play safely from the sun. It goes up quickly and easily. It is a perfect size for two kids to play underneath. Keeps the wind away from the kids. Not too heavy to haul to and from the beach.We love this umbrella!

The skirt on this is such a great addition. It's the perfect size to go with my outdoor rug. The pockets are great, and once staked out, the umbrella is perfectly stable in weather I want to be out in. Highly recommend!

We got it and didn't open for a while, and eventually took it to the beach after the return deadline had passed, which was already a mistake. When we started assembling it, we noticed that one of the stretchers was broken.The umbrella worked OK under very light wind conditions, but anything more and it clearly showed that it was not built with quality. It got ripped in places close to the sandbags and the umbrella itself was also inverting with wind (and no other tents or umbrellas on the beach were having the same issues).

I live in a beach town and yet have rarely gone to the beach over the course of my life. A lot of it has to do with the fact that the sun and I DO NOT get along. Even when religiously applying sunscreen, I always burn a bit, and the sun is bright and it gets very hot sitting in the open. This SportBrella solved all of those issues. I was able to stay on the beach for practically an entire day and never felt uncomfortable. I like that it gives you a more defined "spot" too.Assembly was pretty easy overall, and it isn't too heavy. I am about 5'5" and it just barely hangs off the ground when I have it looped over one shoulder, so if you're on the shorter side, beware about carrying it. I like that this model has the mesh windows so you don't worry about wind. Taking it down is as simple as closing an umbrella. I watch people struggling to close their tents and I am glad I am not one of them. Great product.
