Good read.

Good read
The story was engaging. Easy read. The only downside is the creator of Naruto didn't write this side story so its not true to the manga.

Read this Review! What you need to know.
If you are a true fan of the Naruto series, as a whole, I recommend you to read this book. Keep in mind there are six other books just like this with different characters set at different times in the world of Naruto. If you haven’t read the description on this book, make sure to give it a quick glance as I’d say that is pretty spot on. Kakashi finds himself at a point of low confidence in his strength and skills as a shinobi. This pushes him to put off officially becoming the sixth hokage. When faced with the constant questioning from close friends, comrades, and a difficult mission, he finds the source of what makes him proud to be a shinobi and fights to break the excuses of losing obito’s eye and the key abilities he fell back on in tough situations. In case you’re curious, I’m not entirely sure if this is cannon but there isn’t anything preventing this from being just that. It makes sense to actually fit in with the story as it does take place shortly after the ending to the fourth great ninja war. Between that and kakashi actually becoming hokage. I think I remember someone saying something about this book being filler in a previous comment but I disagree. I think this simply fills in the gaps between shippuden and bortuo.Give this a like so people can get the good information about this novel. I’ll be reading and doing the same with book two!

I love it!! Exciting start to a mini spinoff series of one of the most beloved manga out there!!!
One of my favorite characters from the Naruto manga is Hatake Kakashi, and I was so glad to see Kishimoto write a book centered around him after the end of Naruto. It's not meant to be read on its own (the story even referenced a character from one of the Naruto movies) and longtime fans will find it nostalgic and heartwarming to read about the return of many other great characters like Shikamaru, Tsunade, Guy, etc... The story plot itself is exciting, cut-throat, and fast-paced, and it held my attention the whole way through. The only drawback was that it was easy to tell the story is a translation and not directly written from the author to English readers, but honestly I didn't care! Naruto fans don't miss out on this little gem!

worth your time if you are a Naruto (Kakashi) fan
It's a great treat for Kakashi fans. Not a highly intellectual reading, it's an adventure story that gives you a glimpse of his personality: the good, the awesome and the funny... I swallowed it in one go: did not want to put the book down until I finished it. But the English translation could have been more polished. There are minor mistakes with grammar (she instead of he, past time instead of future time) and some cumbersome language that I stumbled over. A few touches and a final careful read of the language could have made the book more enjoyable for those of us who appreciate good English. I mean, it's a beautiful story, why not write it in a beautiful language (translation)? If there is a new edition with an improved narrative (and perhaps a few drawings) I am buying it again!

See the note below.***Please aware of supported device for this contentMy Kindle Keyboard can't download this book at all. It's kind of disappointment that a Kindle device can't read Kindle Edition book.Of cause, It can be read from Kindle Application or newer device. But at least, please make it readable in KINDLE device. Text only should be fine!I'm not gonna rate this book badly despite disappointed Kindle Edition.I love it. Great to read the story of Kakashi.I'm a huge fan of him.

Love the antics
Could clearly picture this story and I am glad it chose to read it. I really enjoyed the antics with Kakashi and Guy and with the rest of the Konoha group at the end. Very good writing for a short novel.
