JBL JBLFLIP5BLKAM FLIP 5 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker Black

This is the second JBL Flip 5 I have bought. I bought the first for outside by the jacuzzi. My husband ended up taking it to work one day, construction site. That is some hard use, but he ended up loving it so much he took it over. I bought a second for the jacuzzi again. One night we had it on the side of the jacuzzi, wine was involved, and we ended up knocking it into the jacuzzi and not realizing it until the next day. We put it in rice, just hoping it might work. Charged it back up and it works great. It pairs easily between different phones. Great sound quality and a really long charge life. Don't worry about this purchase.

I have only had this Flip-5 for a few weeks but I can say it has rich bass and good volume levels. Even at full volume, there is no distortion as with other speakers. As for portability, it is a bit bulky for carry-on baggage but well worth it when you get to a hotel room or office. I do not know about the battery life yet enough to comment on effectively but I use it about 4-5 hours a day and charge it once a week; I do not play it very loud so that may extend the battery life between charges. It syncs easily with my Android, Apple, and PC as well as excellent for Teams Meetings.

JBL has always been quality sound in the past and this product is a prime example. Very portable and durable. Battery has sustainability. The sound is wonderful. Solid base range with fine overall tone balance. Volume is more than adequate. I plan on purchasing a second unit to pair with my original, that will give me an expanded stereo sound with even more “guts”. Love it!

My 14 year old son asked for very little this past Christmas, and this was NOT one of his requests. However, he was happy to receive it and has used it every day! It is one of his must have items he takes with him everywhere. Sounds great. Has a large volume range. Portable and durable. Definitely worth the money!

I have tried other portable speakers but none have had the quality and robust sound as this one. It has great bass from the woofers on the ends, and it can lay down or stand up. It is light and portable and plays for more than enough time for what I have used it in my work area for a few hours.

For a small powered JBL box it's good. Hearty little box. As far as sound quality goes it sounds ok but wouldn't bragg about it.

Great sound, its 20 watts so it's not a powerhouse but it works great for small gatherings in a field it can be heard for 5 city blocks but in a neighborhood, maybe half that. Has good bass for the size. Amazing battery life when full blasts lasts 6 or so hours. Fast charging, need to use your own power block though so that kinda sucks.

JBL just keeps making these better and better and they're all good. Best and hardiest Bluetooth speaker I've ever owned. I work in construction and many trades use these on job sites without issue. They're fine with dust, drops, being buried, and have good battery life and they're pretty loud for their size without sacrificing sound quality.
