NORPRO Canning Bubble Popper/Measurer, Green

I never thought I’d be giving five stars to a simple plastic stick, but here I am! This little tool has completely simplified my canning process. Measuring headspace used to be a guessing game or a clumsy moment with a ruler, but not anymore.With this, it’s as easy as sticking it in the jar, no fuss, no second-guessing. It’s surprisingly satisfying to use, easy to clean, and it makes everything quicker and more precise. For such a small, inexpensive tool, it makes a big difference. Highly recommend for anyone who cans regularly (or even occasionally). It just makes life easier.

Great tool for canning certain items

I bought this for the headspace scale. I had been having issues with misjudging headspace and wanted a scale to hand for confirmation. What I found is that this is a better bubbler than the plastic knife I had been using. A small thing, but worth it.

I like to can food. This little ruler has really made my job easier as I can see easily when using it.

Somewhere in the unpacked boxes I have my Ball bubble popper, which is narrower and thinner, and I do prefer that when canning fruit. However, this worked, and has the added benefit of a notched end which measures the head space in the canning jar. Even when I find my Ball wand I will continue to use this to measure head space.

Couldn't find my other headspace tool anywhere so I ordered 2 of these. One to use and one as a backup. Seems very sturdy. So glad I got these!
