I PROTECT GUN LIGHT MOUNT
worked perfectlyput it right on my mossberg maverick 88's magazine tube so I can actuate the momentary tail cap with my thumb !Goes on fast! quality productActually looks really cool too ! it is smaller then what it looks like onlineBut it's just right! has rubber inside so it dosent scratch the finish on your gun !since there is rubber it has a tiny wee bit of wiggle but that's the rubber flexing not the mount moving but dose not and WILL NOT A rotate or change positions in any way shape or form it's staying on until you take it off !Like other people said I was nervous about the plastic lock nut thing !But after I received it and put it on my gun I thought to my self the only way your breaking it is if youuse a wrench on the thing ! And lock the screw down with a hammer!Unless there was a manufacturing flawI have a no clueI got mine tight as I could and wrapped a rag on my hand to get it tighter I was able to tighten it that much for example in case your concerned..which i would not beBut mines perfect and I'm 100% pleasedI would buy this again and againWorked perfectly for my home defense shotgun love this little thing !I haven't shot the gun yet ! But I think it will hold up fine to 00 buck ! And slug recoil no problem I'll update as soon as I test !also has a small section of rail on it ! for any thing you may also want to hold on to your gun with the mount !***UPDATE****Held up just fine to the recoil of 00buck in my 12 gaHowever I had to take the Barrel off of my shotgun and to do that I had to take the mount off to allow access to the Barrel nutWhen I put the mount back on I got it a little too tight and stripped the screw out .. Sigh I ordered another one immediately because I do like this product a lot my dumb @$$ just got a little to OCD and over tightened it ..I'm gunna stop at the hardware store an see if I can get the long boltAnd the nut it screws into .. at the hardware store .. and see if I can get the bolt and the nut it screws into .. in the mount as I was able to remove them from the mount components ..I'll check backHopefully I can get another bolt/nut and fix this with harder steel hardware.. not saying it's a bad product just user error.. coupled with a little OCD lol !But if not a new one is on the way .for now my shotgun sits without its light:/ unfortunately. Hopefully I won't need it .****2ND UPDATE***Managed to get the bolt and nut at the hardware store and get it all back together and even tighter .. with harder steel hardware..worked good still have another mount on the way looks like one of my rifles is getting a light too haha 😂I'm happy again and my shotgun has its light back we're both happy lol

GREAT light mount, when used as intended
Easy on, easy off, nothing permanent, and won't scar up your gun. I have one of these on my Mossberg 500 and one on my basic M4-style AR15, and both have held up wonderfully. Be aware that these ARE NOT intended to be used during high-volume shooting sessions. That is, don't slap one of these things on and then go try to take a combat carbine training course and expect it to stay in place or hold together. The rubber insulating sections inside the clamp WILL melt off under high heat from shooting off lots of rounds, not to mention that the clamp itself will probably fall apart. This is strictly intended to be a cheap and simple solution for mounting a light onto your shotgun or rifle without modifying anything on the gun itself. If you're not a mall ninja in need of tons of rails and such, then this will work perfectly fine. This WILL hold up perfectly well during a general defensive encounter, though, and I have fired two full 30-round magazines through my AR with one of these attached without any problems - clamp did not move or fall off - nor did I experience any problems with firing 13 consecutive rounds of 12-gauge 00 buckshot through my Mossberg 500 while having this attached to the magazine tube just ahead of the forearm (where I can actuate the light with my thumb).Be aware of this item's limitations and use it for its intended purposes, and you'll be perfectly satisfied with it.

Brief review of the Nebo 5598
I ranked the Nebo 5598 "okay" for a few reasons. I'd probably give it 3.5 stars if I could, but closer to 3.Update. I guess people have decided to mark my review as unhelpful? Here's the short version of the review. This mount will mount your flashlight and that's it. Don't expect anything sturdy like a permanent mount. My flashlight won't come off, but this mount is by no means sturdy. So if you want to mark the review as "unhelpful" go ahead, but I'm not taking my review back. The mount simply isn't sturdy. It mounts but it is very loose and I feel like any tighter and I will break the mount.Original review. While it definitely "mounts" the Nebo 5077 (although for some reason after my purchase, 5077's are nowhere to be found??) and is a perfect fit for both the tac light and my Moss 88 tube, I have a few concerns.First some good stuff. Only took 30 seconds to install. Very light weight but VERY tough exterior and comfy rubber interior. The foot print doesn't mess up the sling because you can adjust the mount like 35 degrees to the left and you're good. Secures your light enough to where nothing will come off on it's own. Fits Nebo 5077 perfectly. Also, Nebo 5077's are awesome (if you can find one..), impossibly affordable with amazing quality. Anyway moving on.Some sadly kind of stuff that didn't quite meet my probably weird expectations.I feel like there is a disparity between the ability for this to mount, and mount securely. It can mount, don't get me wrong. And it won't fall off, but anything past that leaves me curious. Basically this won't turn your tac light into any kind of breach tool, "DNA remover," or impromptu cover gripping mechanism as secure like a truly fixed mount would.I didn't even want to fully tighten it as I was afraid any tighter and it was going to strip out the threads. Whether it would or not I don't know but I wasn't going to tighten it anymore than it comfortably wanted to go. As tight as it would go it is loose enough to move around by hand axially, but tight enough to not move on it's own laterally. Any pressure whatsoever though will flex it about 35 degrees laterally. Here's the thing though. It did mount my Nebo 5077 so I'm not mad at it. It didn't meet all of my expectations but usually my expectations are all messed up anyway. I now have an affordable, and surprisingly cost-effective tac light mounted secure enough to where it won't come off by itself.Bottom line. If you have absolutely NOTHING, and don't know what to do. Get yourself a Nebo 5598 mount and a Nebo 5077 tac light and then worry about the rest later.Edit. I had to bump my score up. This mount held together when my heat shield came off (needs thermal tape), and my sling reflex bounced itself off (needed to be attached in reverse), and my tube started unscrewing (needs lock-tight). So this thing absolutely secures my light to my tube and the locking mechanism is just fine, although I have it super tight to the point to where I'm worried it'll break, strip itself, or crush the tube (heh) but it's held no problem so that's probably how tight it's supposed to be. Granted again I don't retract my statement that it isn't as secure as a production job. You can't use this as a defense tool or to brace against a surface. It's *only* for mounting your flashlight. Also mount it at a 45 degree angle clockwise or the recoil will bump it into your knuckles.Anyway this's all a learning experience, so take care and hollar if you have questions.

Great shotgun flashlight rig
This seems like a very sturdy shotgun, flashlight rig. I liked how easy it was to install and how solid it feels and for those of you that don’t want your barrel or tube scratched what I did for my 12 gauge maverick 88 is I bought a old 10 speed innertube I cut it enough to wrap around where I put it on my shotgun and it fit perfect and the clamp doesn’t do the metal on metal touching
