NOW Vegetable Glycerin, 4-Ounce

I actually ordered this to put in my mister recommended by a dermatologist in one of her you tube clips. I add distilled water, rose water and glycerin to it and it works great. This is actually the glycerin she uses. She cautions against putting 100% glycerin directly on the face so this is a great way to use it.

If you have severely chapped, scabby, bleeding lips (or are taking Isotretinoin/Accutane) you know that it is basically impossible to fix them with lip balm. Here's how to heal them and get your lips back:1) USE THIS PRODUCT. Put a drop on your finger and rub it on your lips.2) Wait for it to absorb a little.3) Put lanolin-based nipple cream over top of the absorbed glycerin layer. Yes, nipple cream. Really anything with lanolin, but nipple cream is cheaper than lanolin lip balms (more for $$).4) Wait.WHY THIS WORKS: Scabby chapped lips have trouble with being moist, and hanging onto moisture (separate problems). This glycerin product is a humectant, which plumps up your lips with moisture (solving first problem). The lanolin cream seals in that moisture, letting your lips hang onto it while it works to heal (solving second problem).YOUR LIPS WILL THANK YOU.

A little thicker and tactier than expected. Works good. Especially on the hands. Had a slight breakout to the left side of my face but could have been a variation of things besides this product. Good purchase over all. If you can’t use on face, will work great on other parts of body.

This product amps up the moisture retention especially when I combine it with hyaluronic acid. My skin stays soft and moisturized throughout the day. I am glad I made the purchase.

This glycerin vegetable oil is a great moisturizer for my very dry hands. I frequently wash them due to picking up after multiple dogs and cats on a daily basis. But, my initial reason for purchasing it was due to a suggestion by an artist that it works very well to help refresh acrylic paints and helps with blending colored pencils. It's also nice that it isn't toxic and won't harm the environment or put the fur kids at risk of exposure to fumes or ingesting it accidently and it won't cause serious illness because it's natural and not petroleum based like so many other products used for blending or color enhancing. :)

It seems like a very good product! I have yet to use it but when it came in the mail it was open and leaking :( very upset about that but will still use it!!

Adds Moisture to product when needed without weighing down the moisturizer. Highly recommend.
