It can turn my BD-c6500/xaa on and off, open the DVD drawer and close it, and start & stop videos. The arrow keys don't let you navigate various menus. Strangely, numbers can sometimes pick chapters or menu option NSA. It is not intuitive. When the DVD machine gives you drop down menu items,, you cannot make choices. It's not a great fit but you can kind-of get by.2/19/2022 - I used the controller with a different video and the arrow keys work fine. Thus, I am completel satisfied. I would recomend it to anyone. Everything works perfectly.

So far this remote works great. I opened it up, put batteries in it and it immediately worked. I didn't have to try and find a code and program it or anything for my Samsung Blu-ray player . It's a perfect replacement for the remote my kids lost. It was a great price as well. I definitely recommend it.

Works grate with my used Samson Blue Ray player BD-D5300 , that I bought came without a remote ,so bought this VINABITY remote control due to the reviews , it a little larger then I like but I have had no problems with this remote control been working just fine I only had it for a week now but will update if a problem occurs ,it even works on my UN40H5003 Samsung TV so it's nice to have one less remote control laying around , so I put the TV remote away ..it arrived on time and was packaged in a bubble-rap envelope .I would recommend this remote .

I bought this remote as a replacement for my father's Samsung Blu Ray player, model BD-C5500/XAA, he had purchased from one of his co-worker. It didn't come with the original remote, so I programmed a universal remote I had, but all the functions weren't available. Then I saw this remote and took a chance and purchased it. It works great! Now he can access all the features on his Blu Ray player. I tried it out and am verifying that it does work on his 2010 model.

Did not work well for my use

The remote connected well with our Samsung DVD player but after less than 2 years of use (we rarely used it) the main "enter" button started to stick and stopped working shortly after. Currently none of the arrow buttons or enter button works at all. The remote is completely useless..

Bought a DVD player with no remote, ordered this and now it has a remote, wowwww.

The original one was lost so we needed a replacement ! We ordered it and it was here the next day and it works great!
