I was surprised with the quality of this costume. It was a bit long for Belle’s costume, but I’d rather that then too short. I put a crinoline under that I already had to help puff it up and help shorten it slightly. I am happy with this purchase, and I would buy it again.

This was for my 11 year old daughter to wear to a Beauty and The Beast play. She loved it! It fit nicely even tho it is long, she wore a petticoat underneath & shoes with a slight heel. She was stopped a few times for photos thinking she was actor in play 😃

I really like this, and it is perfect for what I need BUT make sure you read these reviews! I bought the dress knowing that I would have to hem it. Other reviews said it was too long and I am only 5'2", so I knew it would definitely be for me as well! It is. I bought some hem tape to take care of that.However, I expected the overall size to be a little small (especially in the top, as other people mentioned) but mine was exactly the opposite--it is too large in the top. Not overly so, but I would prefer a more flattering/snug fit. Once I cinch the apron tight, it helps a lot and makes it look nice.There are zippers on the side of both the dress and the shirt, under the arm, to help with getting it on and off. There is NO stretch to the fabric at all, so this is very helpful. The blue dress appears to be exactly the same front/back so you can wear it either way. The only advantage I see to this is that you can wear the zipper on whichever side you prefer. The bow has a small alligator-style clip already attached.My overall impressions are that it is very nice quality--not some cheap Halloween costume. It is very close in color/style to Belle's dress, though the collar, sleeves and blue overdress are all a little large/oversized. But it still works well! When I have more time I will probably try to take the dress in a little and reduce the size of the collar and sleeves.If you don't mind the length, you can wear it right out of the package--its ready to go. Maybe a little ironing to help it lay flat.I have washed and dried this in a normal washer/dryer on regular settings and it was great.Altogether, I was pleased with this since it is what I expected after reading the reviews, and I am excited to wear it. First run will be to my niece's birthday party this weekend and after, I may wear it as cosplay (after some touch-ups) to DragonCon. I do recommend it--provided you read the reviews and know what you're getting!For reference in the photos I am 5'2" and 115lbs, usually a size 2/4. I am wearing a size small.

I do like the costume- it does seem well made but I ordered an XL and recieved a medium and it took an additional couple weeks to arrive so be aware of that. I am pregnant so I don't know if the medium will fit for Halloween but I don't have time to return and get a replacement so it might be a bust.

Dress fits perfectly. Material is thicker than anticipated, made well. Seems like it should last a long time.

This is just a poor quality garment all around. You can actually see through the blue dress! The white collared shirt is ill fitting and the inside part of the collar that should lay flat, poofs out at the v-neck. Would not recommend. Also much longer than pictured. Returning.
