Powder Pink
I am a fan of the A5 Leuchtturm going through two a year. There is nothing not to love about these journals. They lay flat from the start, are built well, the dots on the pages are subtle and the paper is smooth, a non-glaring off white and lovely to write and draw on. I like that the pages are numbered also.

Seems nicer than Moleskine
This notebook is very similar in most respects to the popular Moleskine pocket sized notebooks. It is about 0.8mm (1/32") thicker and 7.5mm (19/64") longer. Width is the same, within the variation of the material. Each sheet is slightly thicker and slightly more opaque. The sheets are, to eye, perfectly aligned within the covers, which is not true of either of the last two Moleskines I have purchased.Despite the German name, the product is printed and bound in Taiwan. [Moleskines are printed and bound in China, but "assembled in Italy", whatever that means. I am left wondering what assembly a notebook requires after being printed and bound.]There is a name and address page, and three pages formatted as a Table of Contents. The next forward-facing page thereafter is numbered "1" and the numbering through "185", which is the last forward-facing page of normal thickness. The flyleaves (first and last pages) are thicker, as with the Moleskine. Markings are in German, English, and French. Translations are not duplicated when redundant, e.g. one column in the TOC is headed "Seiten/Pages", as "Pages" is the same in English and French. The paper is nicer than the Moleskine's, in my opinion. It takes pencil, gel pen, and pigment marker (Sakura) very well. I have not yet tried it with fountain pen. It is an off-white, just barely lighter in shade than the Moleskine. All in all, it's a nice little notebook, and I expect good service from it. It is not, however, perfect. I would like something with more opaque paper and sturdier binding. I will try the Rhodia Webnotebook next. I have already tried the Ecosystem product, but it is too thick, and I don't like the bright white bleached paper.

Dots Are the Way To Go!
For such tiny little things, dots sure make a big difference.I'm a die-hard notebook-er, and I have been anxious to use this little book for quite some time. And the wait was worth it.Running 17 across by 28 lengthwise -- for a total of 476 -- these tiny spots are almost invisible, which is exactly what you want them to be. Whether you write across, up or down, or diagonally, whether you draw freehand or even use a ruler, these teeny specks provide a very appreciated guide for your work, making it easy to stay even and measured as you go along. The really nice thing is how close to "invisible" they are: when you glance at a page, they almost appear not to be there. And once you write on a page --especially if you use a nice dark pen, like I do -- they really recede into virtual nothingness, making it appear that you are just uncannily organized. But don't forget the other great feature: the heavy-stock paper is high-quality and practically impervious to bleeding ink from one side to the other. I use black as well as gel pens, and unless I hold it up to the light I cannot see what is written on the other side.Additional "points" I like:1. The book starts with 2 blank pages (or one "sheet"), then 3 lined pages for a Table of Contents, a blank page, 185 dotted pages, and one final blank one, for a total of 192 pages in all. All -- whether they are lined or not -- are imprinted in light grey.2. The DOTTED pages are NUMBERED, which is really nice and helps you keep tabs for your Table of Contents.3. An elastic band to keep the book closed when you want to.4. A sheet of peal-able stickers upon which you can write your name or label your books, whether on the front, back, or on the binding.5. A pocket in the back for holding slim sheets.About the only things I could see as improvements would be giving us a choice of having an even thicker book. The Zequenz I use has 400 pages, which is great for those who think part of the beauty of these little books is that they will stick around twice as long, making replacing them occur HALF as often. All in all, though, this is one TERRIFIC notebook, and about as good as they get.

Think with your hand!
An easily pocket-able notebook with a great feeling paper. I have no bleed when using a fountain pen, and the few pages in the front which makes up the table of contents are a nice touch.

Adorable and comfortable
I'm not a paper snob but I am. The paper is so smooth! I hate grainy paper since it makes pens sound weird. But this notebook makes me want to plan my day and do my little doodles. I got the blue, it's just like the photo. Also, the cover material is so nice. Very smooth and soft but be warned it does dent from firm pressure. I use muji pens and mild liners and there's no bleed unless I sit there rubbing the highlighter in one spot for a while. Overall worth it! Also for my fellow people who can't visualise how big the notebook actually is, about the size of your phone (Just length) + your top knuckle on a finger (width) . TLDR : Get the book.

Eccellente

Boa qualidade do papel, folhas numeradas e índice.
