Something Missing
The Tailgate Cap is EXACTLY like the OEM factory model. Very well pleased with quality and fit. All tabs (on underside) exactly like original. The holes did not exactly match up but this was stated in the paperwork. The "plastic sleeves" through which the screws go through had one missing. The screws were too small for the holes and I had nothing in my "junk drawer" to substitute. However, I was able to use plastic upholstery connectors to attach to the metal tailgate. Even though the holes were a "little off", I was able to convince them to go in with the aid of my rubber hammer. So far...so good.

Good replacement
Good replacement at a good price. Fit fine except had to modify a couple holes. Don’t line up But looks factory. Functions well. Easy

Fits just like OEM on the make and model I provided
Fit my truck to scale by make and model and fits just like an OEM part without the price tag. Super easy to install as it just clips in. So far has been durable. Aligns to vehicles liftgate and pre-made latch points perfectly across the piece. Looks brand new and like it came with the truck. Functions to keep mess out of your bumper and does so appropriately and as expected. Durable enough material if you need to twist or manipulate during install but I really didn’t have to. Thank you!

Poor fit & terrible tolerances
The overall dimensions do work with my 2017 Ram 1500 tail gate. But, the holes for the molded-in clips and removable mounting pins do not align with the holes in the top of the tailgate. The unit is in place with maybe 50% of the fittings attached to the truck. I will not be surprised if it blows off or gets ripped off with light friction.Why not just return this poorly manufactured item? I neglected to install it within the return window, so I'm stuck, hoping it sticks.

Looks great however doesn't match screw holes perfectly
Bought this for my 2018 ram 1500 quadcab. The piece looks nice and sits right on the tailgate. However, the alignment of the screw holes don't line up. With a little modification with a drill I made it fit nicely. Would love to rate this higher but the fitment wasn’t right.

Size incorrect
For 2011 ram the clip holes don’t match up and the cover is shorter than the stock tailgate cover.
