I actually used this brine on a whole duck! I let it sit for over 24hrs and roasted it slow in the oven and it came out so delicious & moist!!! The smell was incredible. Thank you also for shipping it out so quickly…. Will buy again.

Grande Gringo HTBBQR 11-2022I was intrigued to try as Southern 'Chell commented on their podcast she carries a small bottle of Grande Gringo with her. Nice flavor, uniquely different than simple taco seasoning. Honestly at first; almost didn't like it, I had to unwrap my head from this being a taco style seasoning. However, the bottle notes its a Mexican seasoning, so get your taste buds ready for something unique. I tried it as Malcolm suggested in different recipes not just Mexican, rimmed a Bloody Mary, heck even a margarita, all very good and I'm hooked.Some have noted, it does have MSG, but after reading up on that years ago, seems it gets a bad rap because of bad publicity. The MSG never bothers me in various seasonings, including this one, so for me I like MSG to enhance flavor.In a tough economy, I looked at it as a splurge buy,as I felt initially it was pricey. I really wanted to buy off the HTBBQR website as it was a bit cheaper but then 1 unit shipping changed my mind to Amazon. I thought I'd sample a smaller, cheaper size as well if I found that on HTBBQR website, first, in case I didn't like it. What won me over for the splurge, is supporting a small business!! And... a very entertaining How to BBQ right podcast that covers not just BBQ contests but so much more; holiday recipes, potlucks, product reviews, drinks, how to cooking training, etc. Now, I will go to the website and buy, simply because I can get multiples of their other spices for Christmas to me and others, saving on the shipping.Bottle was received full, but I've enjoyed it a lot by the time I recently took the picture :)

The best ingredient for my white chicken (turkey) chili recipe! All the people at worked lived the taste!

These seasonings are the best. Watch how YouTube channel for the best bbq recipes and humor. Love all the food he makes and you can do it too using his stuff. He is never pushy with his products and I’m happy to support him.

Like all of Malcom products this is another great one for Mexican inspired dishes
