Gorgeous Range!
Purposefully had my hair bleached to a 7-ish balayage rather than the full 9 or 10 to get more of an emerald/teal green than the box's turqouise .... and it came out stunningly good! Absolutely love it.The dye does bleed a bunch in the tub for the first week or so - use a dark towel. No issues with my clothes, skin, or pillow cases.

“Aquamarine” is an understatement!
Yeah… I’m in love with the color. This was applied as is (w/out developer) because I only want this to last for a week or two. Should fade nicely. Please note, the first 2 photos are immediately out of the shower with towel dried hair - it is NOT styled as of yet. When I do, I will post an updated photo for reference.Pro Tip 1. Shows better on lighter hairPro Tip 2. Clean as you go! This means your skin and all surfaces within splashing distance :)Pro Tip 3. I rinsed this in the shower knowing full well I’d have to clean my tub immediately but, in terms of efficiency, I chose those option. Going forward, I will likely use the kitchen sink first!

PLEASE USE THIS!
I am a girl with naturally dirty blonde hair and I don’t bleach my hair before dying. I was told to use this brand by my hairstylist and honestly, it has been nothing but perfect. The color always stays super strong and doesn’t fade very fast for me. Even when it does fade it fades beautifully and I even get compliments on the color. Please, if you’re considering buying hair dye, don’t go for Arctic fox or any other hair dye from Sally beauty, get this!!( ps: so far I have tried it in aqua and the Violet hair dye, and both are amazing)

Refreshing Color
I ordered this product to refresh my faded color (bleached with teal color x 3 months ago) and did not want to go to the salon. I applied mostly only to the already colored area to give it a refresh after it had faded. It applies darker than you think it will turn out. I left it on for 40 min per the instructions. I love that it already comes premixed. The color turned out amazing. I plan on bleaching and doing my roots once this fades. I love it so far!

50 year old silver hair
I am probably skewing the average age of the individuals who are using this product. I have silver hair- from bright, light silver to dark pewter. I don't bleach my hair anymore when I color. I have been using Artic Fox, Iroiroi, Manic Panic, Lime Crime, Lunar Tides, and a few other brands. Originally, although I knew Pulp Riot was a great choice for long lasting and vibrant color, I had trouble finding places to purchase this brand without having a stylist license. I have used pretty much the entire line of purples- which both go on beautifully over my shades of gray as well as fade to lovely shades of lavender and periwinkle. I love teals and blues in my hair, but they seem to fade faster than the purples. I used the Aquatic by Pulp Riot 3 weeks ago- and while it has faded (I am a shower and shampoo every day girl- so I expect to lose color faster... just can't go without washing my hair).... the color is gorgeous and still very much visible. I just reordered another tube, as well as another shade of teal/turquoise and a blue to play with. I imagine this is incredible over bleached hair, especially level 7 and up. The silver hair has taken the color beautifully too. I highly recommend!

LOVE
I have tried a lot of different aqua/blue hair colors and this is one of the better ones. A tip I got from my hairdresser, because they use this one in their salon, is to leave it uncovered (meaning don’t wrap it in foil). Leaving it out allows the air to help it process. I had placed foil around my color streak when I tried this before and I didn’t think it worked very well. Tried it uncovered and it was so much better. Also, wear gloves when applying because it will stain your nails. Wipe it up immediately (with a magic eraser) if you get it in the counter/ground. It WILL STAIN. Use a teasing comb when applying to get an even distribution. Lastly, wash it out separated from your hair especially if you’re a blonde. It will bleed over when washing. I separate it out for a few washes. Just to be careful. If it does bleed over, it will take a few washes to come off the blonde. It will get blue on white towels, but will come out when washed.
