I have a couple of smarty cats that pilling is next to impossible. I read that making a capsule to hide the taste of bitter pills was an option, so I decided to try these. I was concerned the smell of the capsule would alert them, but I mixed it in their favorite fish food and it works! The caps come off and go on very easily, but still hold the product well. I was able to make up four in just a couple of minutes, Very pleased.

A total game changer and life-saver when trying to pill difficult cats. My cat was extraordinarily difficult to pill, such that even vet techs and vets needed more than one person. Tried pill pockets, hiding in treats, compounded liquids, chews, and she found and rejected them all. She would froth terribly when cheeking the pills. These masked the flavor completely, and I just dipped it in butter before pilling her. Post-pill recovery was so much faster. You can break up and put multiple pills in one. I don't know why more vets don't recommend these - none of mine did. It was actually recommended for the first time by a compounding pharmacist.

My cat's cardiologist recommended putting his bitter heart med in a capsule. Works perfectly. Perfect size for a cat.

We have two cats who have to take nasty tasting medicine twice a day. I split the tablet in half put it in the empty capsule. I then wrap with a flavored paste and stick it in their food. No more fighting, chasing, or arguments. Does a good job.

Size 4 was bigger than I expected and it barely fit the pill pocket but it worked!! I put it in a pill pocket and she ate it without any issues. She is impossible to give meds to whether pill or liquid. I resorted to transdermal but I still want her taking pills so I don’t worry about absorption. I am honestly shocked and didn’t believe the reviews. I am going to try size 5 next though even though 4 worked.
