Loctite 200 High Performance Spray Adhesive 13.5-Ounces (1713065)

I've used this product for decades, have a new can of it, and it's just as good as always. No formula change like so many industrial-type products now that render them safe but useless. I use this to adhere leather buffing pads to a hard foam rubber disc, aluminum backed, that spins at about 1700 rpm. Powered by a single phase .25 hp motor. So you know, it's moving fast with force behind it. I apply some to the disc, some to the back of the leather pad, let it dry for a bit, put it on and smooth it out. It's there until the leather gets holes worn in it. I soak the leather wet with a spray bottle before using it because I put polishing powder on the pad. I polish cut agates with it.My last can of this I bought about ten years ago, it sits in the metal workshop that gets really hot in our desert sun, and was usable to the last drop.

I bought some stick on tiles which are not cheap, and they would not hold on the wall. I sprayed this on the back and they are 💯 sticking now.

Works well, but I was hoping for something a little more permanent. Next time I will buy the higher strength bonding spray. This is not BAD adhesive just not as tough as I wanted. This works well on lighter weight objects and thinner materials quite well however so I will still put it to work on other projects. Give it about 10 full minutes to set-up and de-gas before contact. The adhesive will pull-off if you attempt to re-located the bonded pieces. Get it right/aligned/straight before final contact.

Used it for a sagging headliner in my car and it did a good job. CAUTION APPLY SMALL AMOUNTS FIRST AND LET IT SIT BEFORE BONDING WHATEVER MATERIAL YOU'RE BONDING. PRODUCT NEEDS TO DRY A LITTLE BEFORE ADHERING IF NOT YOU WILL GET A STAIN!. ONCE IT BECOMES TACKY THEN YOU CAN APPLY THE MATERIAL.

Do not buy this product from this source. I’m not sure if these were rejects or counterfeit, but all six had defective nozzles. I shook them very thoroughly and they all clogged after just a few minutes of consistent use. One clogged so badly it backed up out the bottom of the nozzle glueing my glove to the can ruining my gloves. Better my glove than my hand.

Go with the Gorilla product, I found it to have way better sticking power.

Loctite is a solid brand and most of their products perform as advertised. They even manufacture a few products, such as their PL400 Sub-floor Adhesive, that are the superior products available for their specific application. The 200 High Performance Spray Adhesive is a top quality adhesive packaged in an easy to use aerosol spray can.I wear nitrile gloves when using this stuff on any project because this adhesive will bond to your skin and you will need a solvent like Goo Gone or mineral spirits to clean your hands. This is time consuming and unpleasant at best!I recently used this adhesive to bond 12” X 12” cork tiles, 5/16” thick, to latex painted drywall. 240 tiles up for a week and so far no signs of separation from the drywall. Even the corners seem to be fully bonded. I am impressed!

I refurbished my 12 yr. old sofa by replacing the foam inserts in the cushions. The Loctite spray adhesive allowed me to secure batting to foam inserts to keep it from slipping inside the cushion covers. I'm a fairly accomplished seamstress and crafter, so I had a pretty high expectation for the final result. Loctite performed exactly as I'd hoped for this project. There is time to re position pieces before the final bond sets, which was great for working with large amounts of batting that needed to be neatly wrapped around T-shaped cushions. The next project I'll use the Loctite spray adhesive for will be to smooth out and lightly secure a framed poster that has become rippled at the edges. I'm confident that I can restore it to the original look, using this product. The price was lower than I found at local retail stores, too. Highly recommend.'
