Easy to use and works better then expected
One of the best tools I have. Great for exhaust manifold studs/bolts!

It works and it is worth it!!!
Wow this thing is amazing! I didn’t believe that it would work, but it really did. I was able to do a job on a 22 year old car (imagine the rust) without breaking a bolt or nut. No more having to spray PB blaster and having to wait a while for it to work. This thing is 1000% worth it if you deal with rusty stuff!!!

This is the hot setup!
If you're taking apart a 20 year old Duramax diesel This is the ticket! Was able to take off the exhaust manifold bolts and associated bolts for the plumbing to the turbocharger without any great effort. Sure beats the heck out of Having to use a torch! I have been working as a mechanic, aircraft, diesel trucks, regular trucks An automobiles and I sure wish I had Had one of these! Simple to use, straightforward, just look at the videos and pay attention to the instructions and you just might want to keep it underneath your pillow at night:)

Working so far. Better than the cheap ones.
I bought the cheap knock-off version and it came broken. Amazon replaced it and the replacement came broken (both had parts rattling inside).I spent the extra money on this and it came working and it works pretty good.If it dies in the near future, I'll come back and report it but, right now, this gets 5 stars from me.

Open box-used good condition
As the title says open box, was supposed to be good condition with just the coils missing, at a discounted price, it did not work at all would not turn on, had to return it and buy one at full price, the new one works great and is an awsome tool. JB tools needs to check their returns before reselling to customers.

Works
Works great for contact heat, like a seized nut, but if you're trying to heat a bolt seized to the metal sleeve in a bushing, the heat doesn't transfer the length of a bolt, just the area the attachment surround. Good tool though.

Worth every penny for the amount of time and frustration it saves
I absolutely LOVE this tool every time I use it.If you work on any car you know you are one broken bolt away from a 1 hour job turning into a 3 day job. If you have old and rusted nuts/bolts on a car and need to remove this tool makes it extremely easy and reduces the chances for breaking a bolt/nut. I can get a nut glowing red in 1-2 min, depending on the size and the nut breaks off easily. The tool had over temp protection and cuts off after 2 minutes of continuous use. It also has over current protection, if the coil shorts to the car chassis it will also cut off.You may think this is expensive. This is manufactured in the USA and used high quality parts. Some of the knock off brands from China not have the over temp/over current protection like this model. The coils are considered consumables and wear out after while.

Works well on bolts
Used it to take off stuck nuts on exhaust manifolds for a 1967 Power Wagon. I would deduct 1/2 star if possible. My only negative comment would be that it wants go into protect (overheat) mode too quickly if you cant get the entire bolt/nut head in the coil. Worked REALLY well on the exhaust flange nut that always twists off the manifold stud. HIGHLY recommended for that kind of exhaust work and for smaller nuts. Doesn't have nearly enough power to take larger things off of shafts and bar. Works well for some things, doesn't replace the torch for others. I bought the kit with all of the other induction tips. You are going to want that as you will burn through the one that it comes with pretty quickly if using it for more than a single bolt.
