I had mixed feelings going in to purchasing this based on the varied reviews. So allow me to set the record straight:QUALITY: Wonderfully made, completely adjustable to your eye distance, and joints are good. I have found the handle joint is prone to move when twisted to lock just because of gravity if you're holding it vertically. Holding it straight up (as you would when viewing through them) has presented no issues whatsoever!DESIGN: Having searched for a while on Amazon, this was by far the most beautiful design I could find. The white and gold are clean, with the gold not being brassy or yellowy. Very clean, very classy!EYE COMFORT: For my fellow glasses-wearers, this is just like adjusting to a new pair. Once you get the angle right, put to your eyes and allow some time to let them adjust. Same when you take them off! Your eyes may have been focusing for a long time, so when you remove them from your eyes be prepared to give yourself some adjustment time! I would also say being a normal glasses wearer is an advantage with this product because I can rest the opera glasses on my everyday and it provides a lot of comfort to lean them against.ZOOM INTENSITY: I attend a lot of shows, and usually I know someone (or several someones) in the cast! In wanting to try something new for when my seats are further away, I got these. As of typing this, I have yet to attend a show with them, but from testing in my house the zoom is extremely effective and clear. The last image I put is a view from the opera glasses, however keep in mind that it is only through one lense and through a phone camera. I was standing probably 40-50ft. away from the lamp and roses on the far wall, and it was a vast improvement for both zoom and clarity of picture.OVERALL: I think this is a fantastic product and I'm excited to test it next week (I will update this once I experience the product for a whole show!). It looks great, and from the few tests I've done are both comfortable and effective.

Bought this as a present for my wife for her Birthday. Don't worry, tickets to the Opera at the MET was also included. It was cool. We got some pretty good seats, and were able to Zoom into the Orchestra and even see the Opera cast even close. I loved the color and being able to carry it around in your bag. Be careful, after a certain distance you pass, it messes with your eyes, I was seeing double. Either that, or it was the drink I had prior to the start of the show. Who knows.

I had some difficulty zooming to just the right precision in order to see from afar... the zooming abilities only go so far but otherwise I loved them and was able to use them. And it did help me see the stage fairly well from afar.

I was disappointed with these binoculars. They felt flimsy, the image wasn’t as sharp as advertised, and focusing was frustrating. For the price, I expected better clarity and build quality, but unfortunately, they didn’t deliver.

Took it to a show where I had balcony seats. It folds so it fits in a tiny purse. I can’t see far away, so this was a perfect to see the musicians’ faces/emotion that I wouldn’t be able to see. They work like any binoculars. The extension was just a bit wonky.

I bought this along with a few other binocular options trying to find something I could use to see Barber of Seville from nosebleed seats. I was hopefully for these because they were the only ones with handles, and my arm has gotten tired in the past watching shows through binoculars after an hour of holding them up.These are terrible. They're garbage. The optics are all wonky and loose so it's impossible to focus and when I tried to adjust them the eye piece came apart and pieces rolled under my couch. I've never decided to return an Amazon order so quickly.Buy this if you're going to a Gatsby-themed halloween party or if you're plotting a time traveling reverse assassination attempt on John Wilkes Booth and need a period costume.

Unfortunately, these glasses don't work. The magnification isn't strong enough to see past about 10 rows of seats. They are beautiful. Lightweight. Sturdy. But they don't work, I'm sad to say.

These binoculars look great and work great. Had a wonderful and nice looking time at the Ballet with my dear friend whom I bought a pair for her and for myself. They worked perfectly. So easy to carry in their bag and easy to extend and use The magnification allowed us to really enjoy the mastery of the professional dancers and the artistry of the stage design.
