Cortas - Stuffed Grape Leaves (4 PACK), 400g / 14oz each

These have a taste reminiscent of the eastern Med that I remember from different Greek restaurants. Great value for the money.

Why pay $20 a pound for dolmas at the delicatessen when you can get the very same at home for much less (you do the math). These are fresh-tasting and delicious right out of the can, nicely pre-seasoned with a bit of lemony dressing. I do recommend that you chill them before eating; It improves the flavor. Adding a wedge of lemon, maybe some capers, and some fresh ground pepper makes these as good as you get in restaurants.

I love stuffed grape leaves, been eating them for decades. These are OK they’re good but I’ve had better. I’m not going to return them. They’re very well-made they’re stuffed real nicely. They’re just lacking a flavor and I can’t put my finger on what it is, but if you’re not picky and you don’t have a specific flavor that you like to taste then these probably be great for you. They are very nicely priced. I added a little bit of salt and it made it tasty. I’m thinking of putting a little bit of flavored olive oil over them when I heat them that will enhance the flavor also.

The rice was more like rice paste rather than grains of rice. While I don't expect can canned products to be as good as one that is freshly made, I did hope that it would be something I could serve to friends and family. Not even close. The rice was way, WAY, overcooked. The one word that describes the texture of the rice is mush. Too bad, because the flavor was acceptable, but the mouth feel just wasn't there... not even close!

Tastes good and good price for delivery to your door. Their thinner than I'm used to but still good flavor.

The items look good but filling is too mushy for our taste. Additionally, they need additional seasoning such as garlic, oregano and perhaps salt. Leaves are tender. We will not order again.

I have had grape leaves my whole life. Thought I would give these a try. They are not very good. The leaves are tough and the filling is very mushy even before heating. The flavor and convenience is ok but the texture is not so good.
